హైదరాబాద్: వ్యక్తుల్లో గుణాలు కల్తీ అవ్వడానికి కారణం పుస్తక పఠనం తగ్గిపోవడమేనని మంత్రి జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు అన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ బుక్ ఫెయిర్ 38వ ఎడిషన్ను ఆయన ముఖ్యఅతిథిగా హాజరై ప్రారంభించారు. ప్రతి ఇల్లు లైబ్రరీగా మారినప్పుడు సమాజం కచ్చితంగా బాగుపడుతుందని మంత్రి అన్నారు. సాంస్కృతిక శాఖ నుంచి రూ.3 కోట్లు మంజూరు చేస్తానని హామీ ఇచ్చిన మంత్రి.. జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో పుస్తక ప్రదర్శనశాలలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని బుక్ ఫెయిర్ నిర్వాహకులకు సూచించారు. పుస్తక పఠనం ద్వారా విషయాన్ని అమూలాగ్రం అవగాహన చేసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
బుక్ ఫెయిర్ వంటి మంచి కార్యక్రమానికి తమ సహకారం ఉంటుందని భరోసానిచ్చారు. గ్రామాల్లో సర్పంచ్లు, నాయకులు గ్రంథాలయాల ఏర్పాటుకు కృషి చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. చదివిన వారు ఎప్పటికైనా గొప్ప స్థాయికి చేరుకుంటారని తెలంగాణ జన సమితి అధ్యక్షుడు కోదండరాం అన్నారు. పుస్తకం చదివే అలవాటు ఉంటే ఆత్మ పరిశీలన చేసుకోవడం చాలా సులువు అవుతుందని, అది విజయానికి దారితీస్తుందని చెప్పారు. చిన్ననాటి నుంచే పుస్తక పఠనం అలవడితే భవిష్యత్తు బంగారుమయంగా అవుతుందన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ బుక్ ఫెయిర్ను విజయవంతం చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
