Let's laugh!
You can't even hold a pencil... How many figures are shown in those crazy songs! Slowly starting with a quail, a house, a rainbow...we give wings to our creativity. After that beautiful imagination, it becomes a hobby, a time pass... we don't even know when it disappears.

You can't even hold a pencil... that madness... How many figures are shown in the songs! Slowly starting with a quail, a house, a rainbow...we give wings to our creativity. After that beautiful imagination, it becomes a hobby, a time pass... you don't even know when it disappears. That's why I became an artpreneur re-introducing that childhood feeling to everyone with 'Nagumomu'. Like those who shared with us...
ourthe Hyderabad. I have loved drawing since childhood. But, when I grew up... studies and career became my priority. A middle class family! In the absence of my father, my mother still focused on my studies. Her desire is to settle quickly without any hassle. That's why I wanted to be a doctor first. And then Bachelors, Masters, UPSC preparation... and so on. I made my mother happy as a topper in studies. But, I could not be happy. When I look back on my life... I feel that my happiness lies in art. PG and PhD in Environmental Science. Currently working as a Climate Change Advisor in Indo-German International Cooperation.
People need to be included...
These days art is only acrylics, digital... designs. My aim is to give preference to handicrafts that do not harm nature. That is why 'Nagumomu' is being established to create awareness among people about sustainable arts. Mainly my desire is to bring back the former glory of traditional Indian handicrafts like Kalankari, Cherial, Batik... I am doing many things like providing income to rural artists, especially women, collecting funds for stray dogs. For this we are working with artists, voluntary, government and private organizations.
While bringing in the materials, we bring in skilled artisans. Enthusiasts who attended our workshop... What? There are no colors or brushes here. Paper is not given... They ask how to put art. But, later they are surprised to see making figures with tamarind powder and painting with rusted iron on a cloth dipped in milk. That surprise is my success. These arts should not be in a museum, but in our lives. I work with all groups like young women, women artists, children. Coffeeshops, recreation communities, cultural clubs, exhibitions, conferences... whatever the venue... try to teach these arts. He was able to teach hundreds of enthusiasts at the Hyderabad Literary Festival. A workshop was also organized at the recently held International Youth Biodiversity Conference.Overcome many difficulties...
This journey was not without difficulties. Materials should be prepared 21 days before. Art should be taught without changing its original form. People's mindset needs to be changed as they are addicted to easy acrylics. It is not easy to maintain this passion while coordinating a PhD on one side and a career on the other. I can do it with the help of my family. When someone says good, thank you... I forget all that trouble. These days, due to work stress, lifestyle... many faces do not have a smile. Want to see everyone with Nagumomu through this art.
