Today, Amaravati: Deciding places to hear matrimonial disputes cases The High Court has made it clear that the inconvenience caused to the wife should be taken into consideration rather than the inconvenience caused to the husband. When there are requests for transfer of matrimonial dispute cases from one court to another court, the social and economic status of both the parties should be taken into consideration, as well as their standard of living. It is advised to give preference to the place where the wife is suitable. The High Court allowed two women's pleas to transfer the divorce petitions filed by their husbands to the courts in their locality. High Court judge Justice Venuthurumalli Gopalakrishna Rao recently gave a verdict to this effect.

N. Rajarajeshwari filed a petition in the High Court to transfer the divorce petition filed by her husband in the Raypalle court to the Ongolu court where she lives. Aishwarya filed a petition in the High Court seeking transfer of the petition filed by her husband in Tirupati court to Adoni court. The lawyers on their behalf argued that the husbands filed divorce cases in the courts in distant areas to cause inconvenience to the wives. As a result, those women will have to face financial hardships. After considering the request of the petitioners, the judge ordered the transfer of the divorce cases to the area desired by the wives. On the other hand, it has been clarified that petitioners' husbands can be ordered to appear only in special cases such as cross-examination and their presence is not required for general hearings. on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram& Google News.
