Houston: Hindus are the most educated religious community in America, according to Pew Research. A survey report released by the Center revealed. Jews are second in the list of most educated people. The study report was released on the basis of the statistics released in the Religious Landscape Comprehensive Survey (RLS) conducted in 2023-24 on the status of various religious communities. Seven out of every ten Hindus living in America, that is 70% have a graduate degree, while 65% of the Jews have a bachelor's degree. Only 35% of the US population has a college degree. The survey showed that a higher percentage of Muslims, Buddhists, Orthodox Christians and General Protestant Christians graduated than the national average. Evangelical Protestants and Catholics were found to have fewer graduates than the national average. The survey revealed that the majority of Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists come to America for higher education, so the number of graduates is high among them. For this, 36,908 people were questioned between 2023-24.
