Badvelu, B. Koduru, Newstoday: Her name is Haritha. Hometown Guntur district Raypalle. B.Koduru mandal selling bananas on topu cart near Payalakuntla village on Badwelu-Porumamilla main road for livelihood. On Saturday afternoon, two men came there on a two-wheeler and asked for a dozen. When she turned back, they tried to snatch the gold chain from her neck. Harita resisted and the chain broke and fell down. She was screaming and threatened with a knife but did not get scared. She also made every attack with the banana knife she had. The thieves got scared and fled on a two-wheeler. On receiving the information, the Badwelu police were alerted and arrested two people who were coming on a two-wheeler. The accused have been identified as Sivashankar and Shankaraiah of Nandalur village.
