Today, Amaravati: During Jagan's regime, Rs. A crucial development has taken place in the scam case. The second accused (A-2), the then MD of Beverages Corporation, D. Vasudeva Reddy, who played a leading role in the entire scandal, was arrested by the SIT officials on Saturday afternoon. Vasudeva Reddy appeared on Saturday morning when the SIT officials gave a notice to come for investigation in this case on 9th of this month. No matter how many times the investigation team questioned... they did not open their mouths on the key points of the scam. He did not cooperate with the investigation. As a result, Vasudeva Reddy was arrested at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Two cell phones were seized from him. Later, he was produced in the Vijayawada ACB court and Magistrate Bhaskar Rao remanded him till the 27th of this month. Vasudeva Reddy was shifted to Guntur District Jail. Initially, there was a rumor that Vasudeva Reddy would become an approver in this case. He did not cooperate with the investigating authorities. Moreover, they are trying to get anticipatory bail under that cover. It is in this background that the SIT has finally arrested Vasudeva Reddy, who played a key role in the Anni Thanai scam on behalf of the Vaikapa liquor gang.

This much corruption is not possible without their cooperation:'Without the criminal conspiracy, cooperation and collusion between the bureaucrats, those who enjoy high positions with political influence, and those who take the final decisions, a huge corruption of Rs.3,500 crores is possible in the liquor scam. This is no small case. It is unfortunate that the bureaucrats involved were not arrested. Even if their character is deep, they have escaped! How is such massive corruption possible without the criminal conspiracy and conspiracy of the bureaucrats? The Supreme Court recently made strong comments saying that only those who are enjoying high positions due to political bias are helping those who take the final decisions. She said these words while denying bail to the main accused Raj KC Reddy. The Supreme Court made these comments on the 5th of this month when it was mentioned that Vasudeva Reddy was not arrested.

'If the alcohol scandal is the body, Vasudeva Reddy is the head of it. If the head is removed, the whole body collapses. There is no need to make him an approver when there are trunks of evidence. Vasudeva Reddy's behavior is that he will not become an approver unless he is given early bail. The ACB court clarified that less than a few months ago, he cannot be granted anticipatory bail in such a serious case where Rs.3,500 crores of money has changed hands. Vasudeva Reddy filed an anticipatory bail petition in the High Court. The petition is currently pending there.

Moved to Guntur Jail

Guntur Crime News, Newstoday: Vasuvareddy Police. He was shifted to Guntur district jail at 8.55 pm on Saturday.
