Today, Kakinada: Kakinada's Dalit youth Veedi Sunyam. The police officers of the time who acted in favor of Vaikapa MLC Anantha Babu, the main accused in the murder case, were suspended. The top officials reacted to the Supreme Court's strong comments that the police appeared to be in collusion with the accused and why the current government has not taken any action against them. Chief Secretary Kumar Vishwajith issued orders suspending V. Bhima Rao, P. Muralikrishnareddy, CI Akula Muralikrishna and SIN Satish Babu, who were serving as DSPs in this case, as they were responsible for the administrative and supervisory deficiencies. A departmental inquiry was ordered against them.

Despite the blood stains, the death is still suspicious:Though red mud and sand were found on Subrahmanyam's body, SI Satish Babu (now Kakinada Port Station SI) did not care even though the family members of the deceased complained that he had been murdered. An FIR has been registered under suspicious death.

Apart from the allegations of the wife of the accused, there is no other person in this case, it is reported that Section 34 of Redwith has been deleted.
Saying 'Ananthababu Garu':The then SP Rabindranath Babu did not notice red soil and sand on the body of Subrahmanyam. It is said that 'Anantha Babu Garu' fell down and died due to a momentary push near the gate of the apartment. The remand report and arrest information submitted to the court showed that Anantha Babu has no criminal record. Anantha Babu went into hiding on Friday after the Supreme Court ordered to complete the investigation of the case by November 30. Intelligence officials found him to be in Delhi. It seems that legal experts and leaders are being approached regarding the case. His wife Lakshmidurga has been absconding for some days. She applied for anticipatory bail in the High Court.
