జేసీఆర్ దేవాదుల ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం ప్రస్తుతం హాట్టాపిక్గా మారింది. ఉమ్మడి వరంగల్ ఆయకట్టుకు కీలకమైన ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులో పంపుహౌజ్ మోటార్లు పనిచేయకపోవడం వివాదాస్పదంగా మారింది. గత యాసంగి సీజన్లో మోటార్లు మొరాయించాయి. ఫలితంగా 60 వేల ఎకరాల ఆయకట్టుకు నీరందక ఎండిపోయాయని రైతుల పక్షాన ప్రతిపక్షాలు విమర్శలు గుప్పించాయి. బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ అధ్వర్యంలో ధర్నాలు, నిరసనలు కూడా చేశారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో స్పందించిన నీటిపారుదలశాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్కుమార్ రెడ్డి, జిల్లా ఇన్చార్జ్ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్రెడ్డి దేవన్నపేట పంపుహౌస్ను హుటాహుటిన సందర్శించారు. మోటార్లు రన్ అయ్యే వరకు అక్కడే ఉంటామని ప్రకటించినా ఆ వెంటనే మోటార్లు ఆన్ కాలేదు. మోటార్లలో సాంకేతిక కారణాలు తలెత్తాయన్న అధికారులు.. ఆ తర్వాత రెండింటినీ ఆన్చేయగా యాసంగి సీజన్ దాటే సమయానికి నీళ్లందాయి. ఈ సీజన్లోనూ దేవన్నపేట పంపుహౌస్లో మోటార్లు ఆన్ చేయకపోవడంతో శుక్రవారం సందర్శించిన మాజీ మంత్రి హరీశ్రావు బృందం.. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం, సీఎం, మంత్రుల తీరుపై విమర్శలు గుప్పించింది. ఇదిలా ఉంటే దేవన్నపేట పంపుహౌస్లో అధికారులు శని వారం మోటార్ను ఆన్చేశారు. అక్కడినుంచి ధర్మసాగర్ రిజర్వాయర్ ద్వారా సాగునీరు అందించేందుకు ఆన్ చేసినట్లు అధికారులు ప్రకటించారు.

దేవాదుల ప్రాజెక్టు అంశం వివాదం అవుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఆదివారం సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ములుగు జిల్లా ఏటూరునాగారం మండలంలో ఆ ప్రాజెక్టు ఇంటెక్ వెల్ను సందర్శించనున్నారు. మహబూబాబాద్ జిల్లాలో ఓ ప్రైవేట్ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొనేందుకు వస్తున్న సీఎం.. అక్కడినుంచి ఇంటెక్ వెల్ను సందర్శించి అక్కడే అధికారులతో ప్రాజెక్టుపై అధికారులతో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించనున్నారు. నీటిపారుదలశాఖ మంత్రి గతంలో 2026 మార్చి వరకు ప్రాజెక్టు పూర్తి చేసి పూర్తి ఆయకట్టుకు నీరందిస్తామని ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. మరో నెలరోజులే గడువు ఉండడంతో ప్రాజెక్టు పెండింగ్ భూసేకరణ, మూడో విడత పనులపై సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి అఽధికారులతో ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమావేశం నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు అధికారవర్గాల సమాచారం. శనివారం రాత్రి నుంచి పోలీసులు పెద్దఎత్తున బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

ఆదివారం మధ్యాహ్నం 1.30 గంటలకు బేగంపేట నుంచి హెలికాప్టర్ ద్వారా బయల్దేరి 2.15 గంటలకు మహబూబాబాద్ జిల్లా రెడ్యాల గ్రామానికి చేరుకుంటారు. 2.45 గంటలకు ప్రైవేట్ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొంటారు. 3 గంటలకు అక్కడినుంచి బయల్దేరి దేవాదుల ప్రాజెక్టుకు 3.30 గంటలకు చేరుకుంటారు. 5 గంటల వరకు ప్రాజెక్టుపై రివ్యూ నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం నీటిపారుదలశాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్కుమార్ రెడ్డితో కలిసి హెలికాప్టర్లో తిరుగు పయనమై హైదరాబాద్ చేరుకుంటారు.
