ఇంటర్నెట్డెస్క్: బంగ్లాదేశ్లో ( Bangladesh) మైనార్టీ వర్గం హిందువులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న ఇబ్బందికర పరిస్థితులకు సంబంధించి మరో ఉదాహరణ వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. అవామీ లీగ్కు చెందిన మాజీ నాయకుడు కస్టడీలో ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయాడు. రమేషన్ చంద్ర సేన్ (86) విద్యావేత్త, పార్లమెంటేరియన్, మాజీ మంత్రి. ఆయన గత 18 నెలలుగా జైల్లోనే ఉన్నారు. దీంతో ఆయన ఆరోగ్యం దెబ్బతిన్నది. ఆయన జైల్లో ఉన్న వేళే.. బలహీనంగా మారుతున్నట్లు పలుమార్లు కోర్టుకు వెల్లడించాడు. కానీ, బెయిల్ మాత్రం రాలేదని ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యులు వెల్లడించారు.
దాదాపు 18 నెలలు జైల్లో ఉన్నా.. ఇప్పటికీ అక్కడి ప్రజలకు సేన్పై అభిమానం తగ్గలేదు. బంగ్లాదేశ్లో విద్యారంగం, రాజకీయాల్లో కొన్ని దశాబ్దాలుగా సేవలు అందించారు. దాదాపు 18 నెలల కిందట ఓ అల్లరిమూక ఆయనపై దాడి చేయగా.. పోలీసులు సేన్నే అదుపులోకి తీసుకొన్నారు. అరెస్ట్కు గల కారణాలు కూడా సరిగ్గా వెల్లడించలేదు. నాటి నుంచి ఆయన జైల్లోనే ఉన్నారు. ఒక కేసు తర్వాత మరోకేసును ఆయనపై బనాయిస్తూ వచ్చారని సేన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఆరోపించారు. ఏ కేసులో అయినా.. బెయిల్పై బయటకు వస్తారనుకుంటే మరో కేసును మోపుతున్నారన్నారు.
ఇటీవల కాలంలో సేన్ ఆరోగ్య స్థితి బాగా దిగజారింది. ఆయనకు చికిత్స తప్పని సరైంది. శనివారం రాత్రి ఆయన పరిస్థితి విషమించడంతో కస్టడీలోనే ప్రాణాలు విడిచారు. ఈ ఏడాది జనవరి 11న అవామీ లీగ్ చెందిన హిందూ నేత ప్రళయ్ చాకీ కూడా పోలీసుల కస్టడీలోనే ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు.

Even after being in jail for almost 18 months, the people there still do not lose their admiration for Sen. He has served in the field of education and politics in Bangladesh for several decades. About 18 months ago, when a mob attacked him, the police took Sen into custody. The reasons for the arrest were not disclosed. He has been in jail since then. Sen's family members alleged that one case after another was being made against him. In any case, if they want to come out on bail, they file another case.
Sen's health has deteriorated in recent times. It is right that he needs treatment. His condition worsened on Saturday night and he died in custody. On January 11 this year, Awami League's Hindu leader Pralay Chaki also lost his life in police custody.
