ఇంటర్నెట్ డెస్క్: భారత అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధనల్లో (Space exploration) ప్రైవేట్ సంస్థల భాగస్వామ్యం ఇటీవల పెరుగుతున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ క్రమంలో అజిస్టా ఇండస్ట్రీస్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ కీలక మైలురాయి సాధించింది. తమ ఉపగ్రహం నుంచి కక్ష్యలోని వస్తువులను చిత్రీకరించే స్వదేశీ సాంకేతికతను విజయవంతంగా పరీక్షించింది. దీంతో ఉపగ్రహాలపై నిఘా ఉంచే సామర్థ్యాన్ని (Orbit Snooping) భారత్ ప్రైవేటు రంగం సొంతం చేసుకున్నట్లయ్యింది.
80 కిలోల భూ పరిశీలన ఉపగ్రహం ఏఎఫ్ఆర్ (AFR)ను ఫాల్కన్ 9 ద్వారా అజిస్టా రెండున్నరేళ్ల క్రితం కక్ష్యలోకి ప్రవేశపెట్టింది. ప్రస్తుతం విజయవంతంగా పనిచేస్తోన్న ఈ శాటిలైట్ మరో రెండున్నరేళ్లు సేవలు అందించగలదు. ఈ క్రమంలో పరిశోధనల్లో భాగంగా ఏఎఫ్ఆర్ సాయంతో అంతర్జాతీయ అంతరిక్ష కేంద్రాన్ని (ISS) అజిస్టా విజయవంతంగా చిత్రీకరించింది. వీటికి సంబంధించి ఫిబ్రవరి 3న రెండు ప్రయోగాలను వేర్వేరు వాతావరణ సందర్భాల్లో చేసింది. తొలి ప్రయోగాన్ని 300 కి.మీ దూరం నుంచి, రెండో ప్రయోగాన్ని 245 కి.మీ దూరం నుంచి చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించింది.
ఈ రెండు సందర్భాల్లోనూ వేగంగా తిరుగుతున్న ఐఎస్ఎస్ను ఏఎఫ్ఆర్ సెన్సర్లు స్పష్టంగా చిత్రీకరించాయని.. ట్రాకింగ్ అల్గరిథమ్లు, ఎలక్ట్రో-ఆప్టికల్ ఇమేజింగ్ వందశాతం కచ్చితత్వాన్ని ప్రదర్శించాయని తెలిపింది. ఈ రెండు సాంకేతికతలను దేశీయంగానే అభివృద్ధి చేశామని, కక్ష్యలోని వస్తువులను ట్రాక్ చేసేందుకు ఇవి ఉపయోగించవచ్చని అజిస్టా వెల్లడించింది.
కమ్యూనికేషన్, నావిగేషన్, భూమి పరిశీలన, వ్యూహాత్మక అవసరాల కోసం ప్రస్తుతం భారత్ దాదాపు 50 శాటిలైట్లను ఆపరేట్ చేస్తోంది. వీటికి రక్షణ కల్పించేందుకు కక్ష్యలో ఇతర ఉపగ్రహాలు ఏం చేస్తున్నాయనే విషయం తెలుసుకోవడం ఎంతో అవసరమని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఈ నిఘా సామర్థ్యాలపై ఇస్రో ఇప్పటికే దృష్టి పెట్టగా.. వీటికి అజిస్టా వంటి ప్రైవేటు రంగ సంస్థల పరిశోధనలు మరింత దోహదం చేస్తాయని అంటున్నారు.

In this process, Agista Industries Private Limited has achieved a key milestone. It has successfully tested its indigenous technology of imaging objects in orbit from its satellite. As a result, India's private sector has acquired the ability to monitor satellites (Orbit Snooping).
The 80 kg earth observation satellite AFR (AFR) was launched into orbit by Falcon 9 two and a half years ago. This satellite, which is currently operating successfully, can provide services for another two and a half years. As part of this research, Agista has successfully photographed the International Space Station (ISS) with the help of AFR. In connection with this, two experiments were conducted on February 3 in different weather conditions. It revealed that the first launch was conducted from a distance of 300 km and the second launch from a distance of 245 km.
In both cases, the AFR sensors clearly imaged the rapidly rotating ISS. The tracking algorithms and electro-optical imaging demonstrated hundred percent accuracy. Azista revealed that these two technologies are indigenously developed and can be used to track objects in orbit.
India currently operates around 50 satellites for communication, navigation, earth observation and strategic purposes. Experts say it is essential to know what other satellites are doing in orbit to protect them.
