దిల్లీ: దేశంలో గణతంత్ర వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ ( PM Modi) ధరించిన తలపాగా అందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించింది. అలాగే ఈ వేడుకలకు ముఖ్యఅతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న ఐరోపా కమిషన్ అధ్యక్షురాలు ఉర్సులా వాన్ డెర్ లెయెన్ భారతీయత ఉట్టిపడేలా డ్రెస్ ధరించారు.
ప్రధాని మోదీ ప్రకాశవంతమైన ఎరుపు, పసుపు, ఉదా, ఆకుపచ్చ రంగులు కలగలిసిన తలపాగాను ధరించారు. జరీతో నేసిన బంగారు రంగు మోటిఫ్లతో అది ఆకర్షణీయంగా కనిపించింది. ఈ రాజస్థానీ సంప్రదాయ తలపాగా.. పండగ వాతావరణాన్ని ప్రతిబింబించింది. అందులోని ఎరుపు.. అభిరుచి, ఉత్సుకత, ధైర్యసాహసాలకు నిదర్శనంగా చెప్తారు. అలాగే ముదురునీలం, తెలుపు రంగుల్లో ఉన్న కుర్తా పైజామా ధరించారు. పైన లేత నీలంలో ఉన్న జాకెట్ వేసుకున్నారు. మరోవైపు ఉర్సులా.. మెరూన్ రంగులో గోల్డ్ డిజైన్ చేసిన డ్రెస్ ధరించారు. ఈ వస్త్రధారణతో ఈ వేడుక ( Republic Day)కు తగ్గట్టుగా ఆమెలో భారతీయ సంప్రదాయం ఉట్టిపడింది. ఆమె సాధారణంగా ధరించే ప్యాంట్సూట్స్కు భిన్నంగా ఈ దుస్తులు వేసుకున్నారు.

ఐరోపా సమాఖ్యకు ఉర్సులా తొలి మహిళా అధ్యక్షురాలు. 2019లో తొలిసారి బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన ఆమె.. 2024లో రెండోసారి ఎన్నికయ్యారు. 2029 వరకు ఆ బాధ్యతల్లో కొనసాగుతారు. అంతకుముందు ఆమె 2005 నుంచి 2019 వరకు జర్మనీ ప్రభుత్వంలో మంత్రిగా పనిచేశారు. ఈ పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ఆమె ఇండియా-ఈయూ శిఖరాగ్ర సదస్సులో పాల్గొన్నారు. మరోవైపు, భారత్-ఐరోపా యూనియన్ (India-EU) మధ్య స్వేచ్ఛా వాణిజ్యఒప్పందం కోసం చర్చలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ పర్యటనలో ఆ ఒప్పందం జరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది.
