ఇటీవల సోషల్ మీడియాలో 2026 జనవరి 1 నుంచి 3 రో కార్లు (6 లేదా 7 సీట్లున్న కార్లు) కోసం ఫాస్ట్ట్యాగ్ యాన్యువల్ పాస్ రద్దు చేశారని వార్తలు విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం అయ్యాయి. దీంతో చాలామంది వాహనదారుల్లో ఒకింత అయోమయం ఏర్పడింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో నేషనల్ హైవేస్ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (NHAI) అధికారికంగా స్పందించింది.
ఫాస్ట్ట్యాగ్ యాన్యువల్ పాస్ రద్దుకు సంబంధించి సోషల్ మీడియాలో వైరల్ అవుతున్న వార్తల్లో ఎలాంటి నిజం లేదు. అదంతా తప్పుడు సమాచారం అని ఎన్హెచ్ఏఐ వెల్లడించింది. యాక్టివ్ ఫాస్ట్ట్యాగ్ ఉన్న అన్ని వాణిజ్యేతర కార్లు / జీపులు / వ్యాన్లు యాన్యువల్ పాస్కు అర్హత కలిగి ఉన్నాయని స్పష్టం చేసింది.

ఫాస్ట్ట్యాగ్ యాన్యువల్ పాస్ కోసం ఒకేసారి రూ. 3000 చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. దీనిద్వారా వాహనదారుడు గరిష్టంగా 200 టోల్ క్రాసింగ్స్ చేయవచ్చు. ఈ పాస్ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న NHAI టోల్ ప్లాజాల్లో చెల్లుబాటు అవుతుంది. రాజ్మార్గయాత్ర యాప్ ద్వారా యాన్యువల్ పాస్ యాక్టివేట్ చేసుకోవచ్చు. యాక్టివేషన్ తేదీ నుంచి ఇది ఒక సంవత్సరం పాటు చెల్లుతుంది.

FASTTAG ANNUAL PASS
The central government has introduced the FASTTAG system to facilitate toll payments for motorists traveling on national highways in India. To make it more convenient FASTag has introduced Annual Pass. This pass is very beneficial for individual motorists who frequently travel on highways.

One-time FastTag Annual Pass for Rs. 3000 to be paid. Through this the motorist can make maximum 200 toll crossings. This pass is valid at NHAI toll plazas across the country. Annual pass can be activated through Rajmargayatra app. It is valid for one year from the date of activation.
