హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ డీజీపీ శివధర్రెడ్డికి హైకోర్టులో ఊరట లభించింది. ఆయన నియామకాన్ని రద్దు చేయాలంటూ దాఖలైన మధ్యంతర పిటిషన్ను కొట్టివేస్తూ హైకోర్టు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. రెగ్యులర్ డీజీపీ నియామకానికి సంబంధించిన ప్రక్రియను నాలుగు వారాల్లో ముగించాలని యూపీఎస్సీ, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఆదేశించింది. నియామక ప్రక్రియపై కౌంటర్ దాఖలు చేయాలని ఆదేశిస్తూ తదుపరి విచారణను వచ్చే నెల 5వ తేదీకి వాయిదా వేసింది.
డీజీపీగా శివధర్ రెడ్డి నియామకాన్ని సవాల్ చేస్తూ సామాజిక కార్యకర్త ధన్ గోపాల్ ఉన్నత న్యాయస్థానంలో పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేశారు. సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పు ప్రకారం డీజీపీ నియామక ప్రక్రియ జగలేదని.. శివధర్ రెడ్డిని నియమిస్తూ జారీ చేసిన జీఓను రద్దు చేయాలని కోరారు. నిబంధనల ప్రకారం డీజీపీ పదవీ విరమణ పొందే సమయానికి మూడు నెలల ముందే యూపీఎస్సీకి ప్యానెల్ పంపాల్సి ఉంటుందన్నారు. గతేడాది ఏప్రిల్ నుంచి ఐదుగురు పేర్లతో కూడిన జాబితాను పంపిస్తూ వస్తున్నామని.. కానీ యూపీఎస్సీ క్లారిఫికేషన్ కోసం తిప్పి పంపిందని అడ్వొకేట్ జనరల్ సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి కోర్టుకు తెలిపారు. కోర్టు ఆదేశాల మేరకు డిసెంబర్ 31న కూడా మరోసారి జాబితా పంపామని.. సుప్రీంకోర్టు అనుమతి తీసుకోవాలంటూ యూపీఎస్సీ ఆ జాబితాను తిప్పి పంపిందని ఏజీ కోర్టుకు తెలిపారు. ఆ జాబితాను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకునే విధంగా యూపీఎస్సీని ఆదేశించాలని ఏజీ కోరారు.
సకాలంలో డీజీపీ ప్యానెల్ లిస్ట్ పంపకపోవడం వల్లే తిప్పి పంపామని యూపీఎస్సీ తరఫు న్యాయవాది కోర్టుకు తెలిపారు. ఇరువైపులా వాదనలు విన్న ధర్మాసనం.. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం పంపిన జాబితాను పరిశీలించి తగిన నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని యూపీఎస్సీని ఆదేశించింది. పూర్తిస్థాయి డీజీపీ నియామకంపై నాలుగు వారాల్లో నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేస్తూ తదుపరి విచారణను వచ్చే నెల 5వ తేదీకి వాయిదా వేసింది.

UPSC has directed the state government to complete the process of appointment of regular DGP within four weeks. Ordering to file a counter on the appointment process, the next hearing has been adjourned to the 5th of next month.
Social activist Dhan Gopal has filed a petition in the High Court challenging the appointment of Shivdhar Reddy as DGP. According to the Supreme Court's verdict, the process of appointment of DGP has not taken place.. They wanted to cancel the GO issued appointing Shivdhar Reddy. According to the rules, the panel has to be sent to UPSC three months before the time of retirement of the DGP. Advocate General Sudarshan Reddy told the court that they have been sending a list of five names since April last year, but UPSC has sent it back for clarification. The AG told the court that as per the orders of the court, they sent the list once again on December 31. The AG asked to direct UPSC to consider the list.
The counsel for UPSC told the court that it was sent back because the DGP panel list was not sent on time. The bench heard arguments from both sides. UPSC has been directed to examine the list sent by the state government and take an appropriate decision.
