Illandu: State Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy asked to bless the Congress candidates in the municipal elections just as they blessed the Congress supporters in the panchayat elections. Minister Ponguleti laid the foundation stone for the construction of new roads and canals in Illandu town on Friday. Later, Indiramma's house was opened. New Sarpanchs, Sub-Sarpanchs and Ward Members of Illandu Constituency were felicitated in a program organized at Singareni school grounds in the town. Speaking on this occasion, he said that if the Congress candidates win in the elections, there will be a large-scale development in the villages and towns. He promised to visit every ward in the town and solve the regularization issues related to Geo 76. MP Balaram Naik, MLA Koram Kanakaiah, Market Committee Chairman Banoth Rambabu and others participated in the program.
