`There is always one sign in those eyes/ Chongakarche Poet Jayaprabha painfully describes how women are tormented by the stares of some people wandering around the society saying, 'It is like a dog...'. It is a country's misfortune that those who are the heirs of demons and burn women in their hands are lurking at every step. People who have imposed strict patriarchal ideology are harassing women everywhere with their words and actions saying 'men.. what is wrong with us'. Even those who are drunk and go wild are putting on crazy pretenses in the name of love. If not, they are morphing the photos of the girls and putting them online. From babies to the elderly, they commit heinous crimes against women, whether they treat women as playthings. There are others who have filled their thoughts with various characteristics... They are yearning to put girls in the framework of restrictions saying that it should be like this, it should not be like this. In social media, obscene writings and comments on women are provoking. Another big story is that of pseudo culture idols. It is a common thing for them to make wives the king of the house, regardless of what they say about women's empowerment and family values. Because such enlightened people who have buried their brains in primitive caves are burning freely, violence against women in India is increasing all the time. They are defaming the country internationally!

According to the calculations revealed by Telangana DGP- crimes against women have increased by three percent in Nirudu state compared to 2024. Cases of violation of women's dignity increased by nine percent. An increase of almost three percent has been recorded in the case of murders of women. According to the report released by the AP DGP, 1467 rapes took place in the state last year. The total number of crimes against women is over sixteen thousand. According to NCRB calculations, 4.48 lakh cases of violence against women have come to light in 2023 across the country. Thirty percent of them are related to the cruelty of husbands or relatives! In 2012, 24,519 rape cases came to light across the country, which has increased to 29,670 in eleven years. Less than fourteen years ago, the tragedy of 'Nirbhaya' in a moving bus in the national capital Delhi brought tears to the entire nation. As protests erupted, governments tightened the laws. But what happened? After that, such terrible incidents took place in many places. A week ago in the National Capital Region, a married woman was gang-raped by miscreants who picked her up in a car, believing that they would give her a lift. Throughout the night she was chased around the streets and thrown out of a moving car. There is no shortage of those who look at children with blue noses with malice. Harassment of women has become routine in many places in schools and workplaces. How can women walk out fearlessly if the generation of vampires is so rampant?

A survey was conducted in 31 cities recently to find out the severity of oppression that women face at every step in the society. 40 percent of the women who participated in it concluded that they do not feel safe in their cities. Fearing that even if they speak out about the hardships they face daily, they fear that their personality will be wrong, they are afraid that their family will lose their dignity, and many are afraid of losing faith in the system. At least half of the victims hide their pain and leave with their heads down. Hence, many incidents related to violence against women do not come to light. How can patriotism progress if women are trapped inside the four walls for fear of facing hellfire outside?

When there are so many holes in the brains, there is no proper use of the law. That is why in a country where women are measured as the primary power, evils against women do not stop. In order to create a safe environment for women, the concept of 'what is a man, a male emperor' should be eradicated from the home. Parents should inculcate in boys from childhood that girls are not less than boys and women have equal rights. Moral education should be given priority in schools. Along with that, the flood of obscene scenes overflowing on the internet and OTTs should be stopped. Those who commit atrocities against women and girls should be punished quickly. Instead of paying lip service to the advancement of women, governments should really step in to eradicate gender discrimination.

A balanced diet requires spending a little more. Expenditure on food is highly disparate around the world. Average per capita expenditure on food purchased for household consumption in each country in 2023... (in dollars)
