భారత్పై అమెరికా భారీగా విధించిన సుంకాల ప్రభావంతో 2025లో డాలరుతో పోలిస్తే రూపాయి మారకపు విలువ సుమారు 5% పతనమైంది. గత మూడేళ్లలోనే దేశీయ కరెన్సీకి ఇదే అత్యధిక క్షీణత. ఆసియాలో పేలవ ప్రదర్శన కనబరచిన దేశాల కరెన్సీల్లో ఒకటిగానూ రూపాయి నిలిచింది. డిసెంబరులో రూ.91.0775 వద్ద కొత్త జీవనకాల కనిష్ఠాన్ని కూడా తాకింది. భారత్-అమెరికా మధ్య వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందం సాధ్యమైనంత త్వరగా కుదరకపోతే.. రూపాయి బలహీనతలు ఇక్కడితో ఆగకపోవచ్చని మార్కెట్ వర్గాలు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నాయి.
ఆర్బీఐ జోక్యం మాటేమిటి?
అమెరికా-భారత్ వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందంపై అనిశ్చితి నెలకొన్న తరుణంలో.. రూపాయి కదలికల విషయంలో ఆర్బీఐ జోక్యం ఎలా ఉండొచ్చన్నదే కీలకం కానుంది. గతేడాది రూపాయి విషయంలో జోక్యం చేసుకునేందుకు సమర్థ వ్యూహాలను ఆర్బీఐ అనుసరించలేదనే అభిప్రాయం ఉంది. అయితే ఆర్బీఐ వద్ద విదేశీ మారకపు నిల్వలు భారీగా తగ్గడం, డాలరుకు అధిక గిరాకీ నేపథ్యంలో ఒకవేళ అమెరికా అధిక సుంకాలు కొనసాగితే రూపాయి విలువను ఆర్బీఐ మరింత పడనిచ్చే అవకాశం ఉందని మార్కెట్ వర్గాలు విశ్లేషిస్తున్నాయి.
ఒప్పందం కుదిరినా..
అమెరికాతో భారత్కు వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందం కుదిరినప్పటికీ.. రూపాయి మారకపు విలువ పెరిగే విషయంలో మరీ అంత సానుకూల అంచనాతో లేమని కొందరు విశ్లేషకులు అంటున్నారు. ఎందుకంటే.. ఒప్పందం అనంతరం ఒకవేళ రూపాయి పుంజుకున్నా, విదేశీ మారకపు నిల్వలను పెంచుకునే ఉద్దేశంతో డాలర్లను కొనేందుకే ఆర్బీఐ ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తుందని చెబుతున్నారు. ఈ కారణం వల్ల రూపాయి విలువ పుంజుకోవడం పరిమితంగానే ఉంటుందని అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
2026లో ఎలా ఉండొచ్చు..
ప్రస్తుత సంవత్సరంలో రూపాయి కదలికలకు ప్రధానంగా భారత్-అమెరికా వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందానికి సంబంధించిన పరిణామాలే దిశానిర్దేశం చేయనున్నాయి. ఇరు దేశాల మధ్య ఒప్పందం కుదరకుంటే.. 2026లో డాలరుతో పోలిస్తే రూపాయి విలువ 89-93 శ్రేణిలో చలించవచ్చని విశ్లేషకులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. ఒకవేళ ఒప్పందం కుదిరితే 87.50-88కు పుంజుకునే అవకాశం ఉంటుందంటున్నారు. వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందం కుదిరినా.. భారత వస్తువులపై సుంకాలను 15-20 శాతానికి అమెరికా తగ్గించినప్పుడే సానుకూల పరిణామంగా చూడాలని అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.
