ఝార్ఖండ్ రాజధాని నగరమైన రాంచీకి సమీపంలోని నామ్కుమ్ పోలీసుస్టేషను పరిధిలో ఓ వింత సంఘటన జరిగింది. సాక్ష్యాలను భద్రపరచడంలో పోలీసుల నిర్లక్ష్యానికి తోడు ప్రాసిక్యూషను వాదనలో లొసుగుల కారణంగా.. అరెస్టు చేసిన ఇద్దరు నిందితులను నిర్దోషులుగా కోర్టు విడుదల చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. సాక్షుల వాంగ్మూలాలతోపాటు చూపిన ఆధారాల్లోనూ వైరుధ్యాలు ఉన్నట్లు జడ్జి పేర్కొన్నారు. మాదకద్రవ్యాల తయారీలో వాడే డోడా పౌడరు (ఓపియం/అఫీమ్)తో 2019 మే నెలలో నిందితులు పట్టుబడ్డారు. 45 సంచుల్లోని 675 కిలోల డోడా పౌడరును పోలీసులు ఠాణాలో ఆరుబయట నిల్వ చేయగా.. ఎలుకలు దాన్ని స్వాహా చేశాయని వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది.
