ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: తెలుగు పరిమళం గుబాళించింది. సంప్రదాయం ఉట్టిపడింది. తెలుగు కళల వైభవం కళ్లకు కట్టింది. మాతృభాషపై మమకారంతో తరలివచ్చిన తెలుగు ప్రేమికులను అమ్మఒడిలా అక్కున చేర్చుకుంది. ఆంధ్ర సారస్వత పరిషత్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో శనివారం గుంటూరులో మూడో ప్రపంచ తెలుగు మహాసభలు అమ్మభాషకు పట్టం కట్టేలా అట్టహాసంగా మొదలయ్యాయి. వివిధ రంగాల ప్రముఖుల ప్రసంగాలు, భాషాపండితుల చమత్కారాలు, తెలుగు కవుల నుడికారాలు, అవధానుల ప్రతిభా పాటవాలు, కళాకారుల నృత్యాలు, సంప్రదాయ వస్త్రధారణలు అందరినీ కట్టిపడేశాయి. తెలుగు వైభవం చాటిచెప్పిన మహనీయులను గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకునేలా తెలుగు సంస్కృతీ సంప్రదాయాలకు అద్దం పట్టేలా కార్యక్రమాలు కొనసాగాయి. సంక్రాంతి సంబరాలు ముందుగానే వచ్చాయన్నట్లు సభా వేదిక అయిన ‘సత్యసాయి ఆధ్యాత్మిక నగరి’ సరికొత్త శోభతో వెలిగింది. మహాసభలకు రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి భాషాభిమానులు పెద్దసంఖ్యలో తరలివచ్చారు. ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఉన్న తెలుగు సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు. ఉమ్మడి గుంటూరు జిల్లాలోని వివిధ విద్యాసంస్థలకు చెందిన విద్యార్థులూ పాల్గొన్నారు.
జానపదాల హోరు... జనంలో జోరు
తెలుగునాట వివిధ ప్రాంతాలకు చెందిన కళలు, జానపదాలకు మహాసభల్లో సముచిత గౌరవం దక్కింది. వయసుతో సంబంధం లేకుండా కళాకారులు ప్రతిభను ప్రదర్శించారు. నృత్యాలు, పాటలు, భజనలు, సంకీర్తనలు తెలుగుభాష వైభవాన్ని చాటిచెప్పాయి. మన చేతివృత్తులు, చేనేత వస్త్రాలు, శిల్ప, చిత్రకళలు... అన్నీ ఒకచోట చేరి తెలుగువారి వారసత్వ సంపద గొప్పతనాన్ని తెలియజెప్పాయి. ప్రధానవేదికపై ఏర్పాటుచేసిన శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరుని ప్రతిమ, తెలుగుతల్లి, ఎన్టీఆర్ విగ్రహాలు ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచాయి. తెనాలి కళాకారుల చేతిలో రూపుదిద్దుకున్న తుక్కు ఇనుము శిల్పాలను సందర్శకులు ఆసక్తిగా తిలకించారు. నోరూరించే ఆంధ్రా వంటకాలను వడ్డించారు. చారిత్రక, వారసత్వ సంపదను, విజ్ఞాన సర్వస్వాన్ని ఒకే చోటకు తీసుకొచ్చి నేటి తరానికి పరిచయం చేశారు.
ఐదు తరాల సందడి
మహా సభల వేదికలపై ఐదుతరాలు కనువిందు చేశాయి. మహాసభలకు చిన్నాపెద్దా అన్న తేడా లేకుండా, విభిన్న వయస్సులవారు హాజరు కావడం ఆకట్టుకుంది. ప్రధానవేదిక వద్ద ఉదయం నుంచీ పాఠశాలల విద్యార్థులు సందడి చేయగా.. అన్నమయ్య సంకీర్తనల సందర్భంగా యువతులు గొంతు కలిపి అమ్మభాషను కీర్తించారు. పిల్లలతో కలిసొచ్చిన మాతృమూర్తులు, మాతృభాషపై మమకారంతో హాజరైన అమ్మమ్మలు.. ఇలా అన్ని తరాలూ ప్రాంగణంలో కనిపించాయి. కొన్నిచోట్ల పిల్లలకు తెలుగుభాష గొప్పతనాన్ని వివరిస్తుండటం కనువిందు చేస్తే.. మరికొన్నిచోట్ల తమ బిడ్డలను సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగస్వాములను చేసేందుకు పరితపించడం ఆకట్టుకుంది.
ఆంధ్రం అనగానే మనకు గుర్తొచ్చేది అవధానం. ఆ ప్రక్రియ మన తెలుగోడి సొత్తు. అవధానం అంటే జ్ఞాపకశక్తి, ధారణ, ధోరణి, చమత్కారం, ధైర్యం.. ఇవన్నీ ఉండాలి. అలాంటి అవధానం భారతీయ భాషల్లో ఇంకెక్కడా లేదు.
మహా సభలను గుంటూరులో నిర్వహించాలని రెండేళ్ల క్రితం నిర్ణయించుకున్నాం. దేశం, ప్రపంచం నలుమూలల నుంచి ఇక్కడికి విచ్చేసిన అందరికీ రుణపడి ఉన్నాం.
తెలుగుభాష మనుగడ సాగించలేకపోతోందంటే, మాట్లాడలేకపోతున్నారంటే, పిల్లలు తెలుగు భాష అని గర్వంగా తలెత్తుకుని తిరగలేకపోతున్నారంటే అందుకు తలదించుకోవాల్సింది తల్లిదండ్రులే. వ్యవస్థల్ని, ప్రభుత్వాన్ని తర్వాత నిందిద్దాం. తల్లి ఒడి నుంచే ఈ భాషకు పునాది ఏర్పడాలి. మానసిక శాస్త్రవేత్తల అధ్యయనం ప్రకారం పసివయసులో ఎన్ని భాషలైనా నేర్చుకోగలరు. చైనాలో మాండరిన్, జర్మనీలో జర్మన్, ఇటలీలో ఇటాలియన్, జపాన్లో జపనీస్.. వీరంతా ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడా వెనుకబడలేదు. వారు విశ్వవిజ్ఞానాన్ని తమ భాషల్లోకి అనువదింపజేసుకుని పిల్లలకు అందజేస్తున్నారు.
శ్రీరామచంద్రమూర్తికి విద్యలు నేర్పిన మహాగురువు విశ్వామిత్రుడు. ఆయన కుమారుల్లో ఒకరి పేరు ఆంధ్రుడు. ఆయన ఉత్తరాది నుంచి దక్షిణాదికి వచ్చి మన ప్రాంతాన్ని పాలించారు. అలా మన ప్రాంతానికి ఆంధ్ర దేశమని, మనకు ఆంధ్రులని, మన భాషకు ఆంధ్రమని పేరు వచ్చింది. అంటే శ్రీరాముని కాలం నుంచి తెలుగు భాష ఉందని గ్రహించాలి.
నేను ఐదు భాషలు అనర్గళంగా మాట్లాడటానికి కారణం నా మాతృభాష తెలుగు బాగా రావడం వల్లే అని గర్వంగా చెబుతున్నా. తెలుగులో చదివితే ఉద్యోగాలు రావని చాలామంది అనుకుంటుంటారు. మనకు ఉద్యోగాలు ఇంగ్లిషు భాష చూసి ఇవ్వరు. విషయ గ్రాహక శక్తి, పరిజ్ఞానం చూసి ఇస్తున్నారు. అవి పెరగాలంటే మాతృభాష బాగా రావాలి. మాతృభాషకు ప్రాధాన్యమిచ్చే దేశాలు ముందుకెళుతున్నాయి.

- విద్యకు రూ.34,875 కోట్లు రాష్ట్ర బడ్జెట్లో విద్యకు ప్రభుత్వం అధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇచ్చింది. మొత్తం బడ్జెట్లో విద్యకు రూ.34,875 కోట్లు (11శాతం) కేటాయించింది. ఇందులో పాఠశాల విద్యకు రూ.32,308 కోట్లు కేటాయించింది.

Arts and folk songs from different regions of Telugu got due respect in Mahasabhas. Artistes have demonstrated talent regardless of age. The statue of Sri Venkateswara, Telugu mother and NTR idols installed on the main platform are special attractions. The visitors were interested to see the wrought iron sculptures shaped by the artisans of Tenali. Mouth-watering Andhra cuisine was served. Historical, heritage and knowledge have been brought together in one place and introduced to the present generation.
The noise of five generations
Five generations met on the platforms of Maha Sabhas. It was impressive that people of different age groups attended the congresses, young and old alike. While the students of the schools made noise from the morning at the Pradhanvedi, the young women glorified Amma Bhasha during Annamayya's sankirtanas. All the generations were seen in the premises, the mother idols who met with the children, the grandmothers who were present in the mother tongue. In some places, the greatness of Telugu language is explained to the children. In other places, it is impressive that they encourage their children to participate in cultural activities.
Andhra is what we remember. That process belongs to our Telugodi. Attention means memory, retention, attitude, wit, courage... all these should be there. Such attention is not found anywhere else in Indian languages.
Two years ago we decided to organize the Maha Sabhas in Guntur. We are indebted to all those who have come here from all parts of the country and the world.
Telugu language is not able to survive, if it is not able to speak, children are not able to stand up and walk around with pride as Telugu language. Parents have to deal with that. Let's blame the systems and the government later. The foundation of this language should be formed from the mother's lap. According to the study of psychologists, babies can learn any number of languages. Mandarin in China, German in Germany, Italian in Italy, Japanese in Japan.. All of them are not behind anywhere in the world. They are translating the cosmology into their own languages and imparting it to the children.
Vishvamitra was the great teacher who taught Sri Ramachandramurthy. One of his sons was named Andhra. He came from the north to the south and ruled our region. That is how our region got the name of Andhra country, we got the name of Andhras, and our language got the name of Andhra. It means that Telugu language has existed since the time of Sri Rama.
I am proud to say that the reason I speak five languages fluently is because my mother tongue Telugu is good. Many people think that they will not get jobs if they study in Telugu. We don't get jobs based on English. The subject's receptive power and knowledge are given. If they want to grow, the mother tongue should be good. Countries that prioritize mother tongue are leading the way.

Chief Minister Chandrababu said that once in Rayalaseema there was no water for cattle to drink and there were days when cattle fodder and water were transported in trains. He said that in the past they had taken up the work of the Handriniva project seriously, and that is why the results are coming now.

It proposed Rs.8,159 crores in 2025-26 and recently made Rs.9,190 crores.
