సాక్షి, హైదరాబాద్:మహా నగరానికి నకిలీ వైద్యుల బెడద పట్టుకుంది. అత్యంత అభివృద్ధి చెందిన నగరంగా హైదరాబాద్ దూసుకెళుతోంది. ప్రపంచ స్థాయిలో మెడికల్ టూరిజాన్ని ఆకర్షిస్తోంది. క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో వైద్యం మాత్రం గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలకంటే ఘోరంగా ఉంది. తెలంగాణ మెడికల్ కౌన్సిల్ నివేదికలు దీన్నే ప్రతిబింబిస్తున్నాయి. గడచిన రెండేళ్ల వార్షిక నివేదికలను పరిశీలిస్తే రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఎక్కడా లేని విధంగా మూడు జిల్లాల్లోనే అత్యధిక కేసులు నమోదవుతున్నాయి.
రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లాలో 34, మేడ్చల్ 32, హన్మకొండలో 30 ఎఫ్ఐఆర్లు నమోదయ్యాయి. ఒక్కో ఎఫ్ఐఆర్లో రెండు నుంచి ఐదు కేసులు ఉంటాయని మెడికల్ కౌన్సిల్ సభ్యులు చెబుతున్నారు. మిగతా జిల్లాల్లో సుమారుగా ఏడాదికి సింగిల్ డిజిట్లోనే ఉన్నాయి. తెలంగాణ మెడికల్ కౌన్సిల్ తనిఖీల్లో అర్హత లేని వ్యక్తులు వైద్యం చేయడం, అనధికారికంగా క్లినిక్లు, నర్సింగ్ హోంలు నిర్వహించడం, నిషేధిత స్టెరాయిడ్స్, అబార్షన్ కిట్లు, ప్రమాదకరమైన యాంటీబయాటిక్స్, హార్మోనల్ ట్యాబ్లెట్లు వినియోగిస్తున్నట్లు స్పష్టమవుతోంది.
ఏటా పది వేల మంది వైద్యులు..
రాష్ట్రంలో మొత్తం 65 వైద్య కళాశాలలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇందులో ప్రభుత్వ కళాశాలలు 36 ఉండగా, ప్రైవేటువి 29 ఉన్నాయి. ఏటా పది వేల మంది వైద్య విద్యార్థులు పట్టా పొందుతున్నారు. నగరంలో 260 బస్తీ దవాఖానాలు, పట్టణ ప్రాథమిక ఆరోగ్య కేంద్రాలు, సామాజిక ఆరోగ్య కేంద్రాలు, ఏరియా, జిల్లా ఆసుపత్రులు, మెడికల్ కళాశాలలు, గాంధీ, ఉస్మానియా, నిలోఫర్, నిమ్స్, ఇతర కార్పొరేట్ ఆసుపత్రులు ఉన్నప్పటికి నకిలీ వైద్యుల ప్రభావం ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున ఉండటం ఆందోళనకు గురిచేస్తోంది. వైద్యాధికారులు, మెడికల్ కౌన్సిల్ తనిఖీల్లో పట్టుబడిన వారిపై తెలంగాణ మెడికల్ ప్రాక్టిసనర్స్, రిజి్రస్టేషన్ యాక్ట్ ప్రకారం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. ఇటీవల కాలంలో గ్రేటర్ పరిధిలోని ఓ డీఎంహెచ్ఓ నిబంధనలు పాటించని ఆసుపత్రికి రూ.50 వేల జరిమానా విధించారు. ప్రజారోగ్యానికి నష్టం కలిగించే వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తప్పవని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నా నకిలీల మకిలీ వదలడంలేదు.
నాణ్యమైన వైద్యం అందాలన్నదే లక్ష్యం
ప్రజలకు నాణ్యమైన వైద్యం అందించాలన్నదే లక్ష్యంగా తెలంగాణ మెడికల్ కౌన్సిల్ పని చేస్తోంది. అర్హత లేని వ్యక్తులు వైద్యం చే యడం, అనుమతులు లేకుండా క్లినిక్స్, నర్సింగ్హోంల నిర్వహణ, నిషేధిత మందుల వినియోగంపై విశ్వసనీయ సమాచారం మేరకు దాడులు నిర్వహించి కేసులునమోదు చేస్తున్నాం. తదుపరి చర్యల కోసం ఆయా జి ల్లా వైద్యాధికారులకు అప్పగిస్తున్నాం. నకిలీ వైద్యులతో సమాజానికి నష్టం జరుగుతోంది. అవసరం లేకపోయినా పవర్ ఫుల్ మందులు రాస్తున్నారు., స్టెరాయిడ్స్, యాంటీబయాటిక్స్తో భవిష్యత్తులో తీవ్ర ప్రతికూల ప్రభావాలను ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

Inspections by the Telangana Medical Council reveal that unqualified people are practicing medicine, running clinics and nursing homes illegally, using banned steroids, abortion kits, dangerous antibiotics and hormonal tablets.
Ten thousand doctors every year...
There are 65 medical colleges in the state. There are 36 government colleges and 29 private colleges. Ten thousand medical students graduate every year. Even though there are 260 basti dispensaries, urban primary health centers, social health centers, area, district hospitals, medical colleges, Gandhi, Osmania, Nilofar, NIMS and other corporate hospitals in the city, the influence of fake doctors on such a large scale is worrying. Actions are being taken against the medical officers and those caught in the Medical Council inspections under the Telangana Medical Practitioners and Registration Act. Recently, a DMHO hospital in the greater jurisdiction was fined Rs. 50 thousand for not complying with the regulations. Despite warning that strict action should be taken against those who cause harm to public health, fakes are not spared.
The aim is to provide quality medical care
Telangana Medical Council is working with the aim of providing quality medical care to the people. We are conducting raids and registering cases based on reliable information on unqualified persons practicing medicine, running clinics and nursing homes without permits, and using prohibited drugs. We are handing over to the respective District Medical Officers for further action. Society is being damaged by fake doctors. Even if there is no need, they are prescribing powerful medicines, steroids and antibiotics, and in the future they will have to face severe negative effects.
