విశాఖపట్నం: దువ్వాడ రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో పట్టాలపై తలపెట్టి జవాను ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడిన ఘటన కలకలం రేపింది. ఏం కష్టం వచ్చిందో ఏమో.. రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో ఫ్లాట్ ఫామ్-1 వద్ద అందరూ చూస్తుండగానే పెదగంట్యాడ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన నీలాపు వెంకటరెడ్డి (సైనికుడు) రైలు రావడాన్ని గమనించి ఒక్కసారిగా పట్టాలపైకి దూకాడు. రైలు డ్రైవర్ వేగాన్ని నియంత్రించేలోపే పట్టాలపై తల పెట్టి పడుకోవడంతో చక్రాల కింద మెడ తెగిపడి అక్కడికక్కడే మృతి చెందాడు. కేసు నమోదు చేసుకున్న రైల్వే పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు. ఆత్మహత్యకు గల కారణాలపై ఆరా తీస్తున్నారు.

Visakhapatnam: The incident of a jawan committing suicide by hanging his head on the tracks at Duvvada railway station has created a stir. What was the problem?.. While everyone was watching at platform-1 of the railway station, Neelapu Venkata Reddy (soldier) from Pedagantyada area saw the train coming and jumped on the tracks. The driver of the train fell head on the tracks before he could control the speed and his neck was severed under the wheels and he died on the spot.
