Vijayanagaram: Bhogapuram Greenfield The international airport is going to be a game changer in the development of Andhra Pradesh. The first commercial flight will land on January 4 as a trial run at the Bhogapuram International Airport, a long-time dream of the residents of Uttarandhra. The Air India flight departing from Delhi will arrive at 11 am along with Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, MP Kalishetti Appala Naidu and other aviation officials. After the success of this last trial run... the ministry will hold talks with other airlines willing to operate from the airport in May this year.
If Bhogapuram airport becomes available.. Visakhapatnam will become a major financial center in South India. Uttarandhra phase is going to turn with 24 hours flight services, international connectivity and thousands of jobs. The Bhogapuram International Airport, which is being designed in the name of Manyam revolutionary hero Alluri Sitaramaraj, is now fast becoming a reality. It is not just an airport but a miracle that will change the economic face of Uttarandhra districts. Currently under the supervision of Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu, the work is progressing at an unexpected speed and has been prepared ahead of schedule.
GMR Group is constructing this airport. L&T Company has taken up the civil works contract for this. They will be in charge of management for 40 years. About 3.8 km long runway is being constructed here. A runway has been built here so that the world's largest aircraft such as Airbus A380, Boeing 47-8 and wide-body aircraft can land easily. my-3">
