Nacharam (Hyderabad): The Nacharam police have solved the case of murder of Sujatha (65), the owner of the house who had rented it for gold. The police, who have already arrested the accused, went to AP's Dr. BR Ambedkar's Konaseema district and started searching for her body. Accused Anjibabu was brought and washed in Godavari. Sujatha's dead body was found in Vainateya Godavari between Appanapalli-K.Enugupalli near Mamidikuduru on Tuesday morning. The police went there under the leadership of Nacharam CI Dhanunjaya.
What happened is..
A cab driver Anjibabu (33) killed the owner who had rented the house for gold. According to CI Dhanunjaya, Sureddy Sujatha lives in Mallapur Babanagar under Nacharam PS. Her husband and sons are dead and she is living alone. M. Anjibabu from Kothapalli, Peravali Mandal, Konaseema District, Dr. BR Ambedkar, came to Hyderabad for work as a driver. Two months ago Sujata joined the house as a tenant. On the night of 19th of this month, he killed her and robbed her of 11 talas of gold. He kept the dead body in the house and locked it.
He told this to his friend Yuvaraju (18) of Kandavalli, Peravali Mandal and Durga Rao (35) of Vemavara, Amalapuram Mandal and went to his hometown. On 20th, the three hired a car and reached Mallapur. The body was taken to Krishna Lanka in Konaseema district by car and thrown in the Godavari. Sujatha's younger sister Suvarnalatha, who is staying in Moinabad, came to her sister's house on 24th. When she was not found, a complaint was lodged with the police. Anjibabu, who was staying on rent, was caught and interrogated when he was not found and confessed to the crime.
