న్యూ ఇయర్ సందర్బంగా క్యాబ్ లేదా ఆటో డ్రైవర్లు రైడ్ రావడానికి నిరాకరించినా, బుకింగ్ ధర కంటే ఎక్కువ డబ్బులు డిమాండ్ చేసినా ఉపేక్షించేది లేదని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇలాంటి చర్యలు మోటార్ వెహికల్ చట్టం సెక్షన్ 178(3)(b) ప్రకారం నిబంధనల ఉల్లంఘనగా పరిగణించబడతాయి. ఈ నిబంధనలు అతిక్రమించే వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని పోలీసులు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఎక్కడైనా ఇబ్బంది ఎదురైతే వెంటనే వాహనం నంబర్, సమయం/ప్రదేశం, రైడ్ వివరాల స్క్రీన్షాట్లను ప్రయాణికులు సేకరించి వాటిని పోలీసులకు తెలియజేయాలని సూచించారు. ఈ వివరాలను హైదరాబాద్ పోలీసుల అధికారిక వాట్సాప్ నంబర్ 91 94906 16555 కు పంపాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
