పర్చూరు, డిసెంబరు 24 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి) : క్రిస్మస్ వేడుకలకు చర్చీలు, ప్రార్థనామందిరాలు ముస్తాబ య్యాయి. గ్రామాలు, పట్టణాలు, పల్లెలోని ఆయా మందిరాలను విద్యుత్దీపాలతో సుందరంగా అలంకరిం చారు. దీంతో విద్యుత్ వెలుగులతో చర్చి ప్రాంగణాలు కళకళలాడుతున్నాయి. దీంతో పాటు పండుగ రోజు ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్ధనలు నిర్వహించే విధంగా ప్రాంగణాలను క్రైస్తవులు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. మండల కేంద్రమైన పర్చూరులోని లూధరన్ చర్చ్ని సుందరంగా తీర్చిది ద్దారు. అదేవిధంగా చెన్నుంబొట్ల ఆగ్రహారంలోని వంద సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తిచేసుకున్న చర్చిని విద్యుత్ దీపాల తో అలంకరించారు.
తోటవారిపాలెం(చీరాల) : క్రీస్తు బోధించిన విధంగా ఇతరుల పట్ల ప్రతిఒక్కరూ ప్రేమ, ఆప్యాయత, సమా ధానంగా ఉండాలని ఎంపీ తెన్నేటి కృష్ణప్రసాద్ పేర్కొ న్నారు. చీరాల మండల పరిధిలోని తోటవారి పాలెంలో నిర్వహించిన సెమీ క్రిస్మస్ వేడకల్లో ఎంపీ ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరయ్యారు. ఈసందర్భంగా క్రీస్తు సందేశాలను ఉపన్యసించారు. అనంతరం మత బోధకులు ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్ధనలు చేశారు. ఎంపీ కేక్ కటింగ్ నిర్వహించి వృధ్ధులకు నూతన వస్ర్తాలు బహూకరించా రు. పెద్దసంఖ్యలో క్రైస్తవులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
చీరాల : చీరాల్లో క్రిస్మస్ సందడి బుధవారం రాత్రి నుండే మొదలైంది. ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన సెయింట్ మార్క్స్ లూథరన్ చర్చి, సాల్మన్ సెటంర్లోని బేర్ చర్చితో సహా నియోజకవర్గంలోని చిన్న, పెద్ద తేడా లేకుండా క్రైస్తవ ఆలయాలు విద్యుత్ దీపాల అలంకరణలతో వేడుకలకు ముస్తాబయ్యాయి. అంతేకాకుండా బుధవారం రాత్రి నుండే మతబోధకు లు ఆలయాల్లో పవిత్ర ప్రార్థనలు ప్రారంభించారు. దీంతో చిన్నా, పెద్ద తేడా లేకుండా క్రైస్తవులు నూతన వస్ర్తాలు ధరించి ఆలయాలకు బారులు తీరారు. పలుచోట్ల క్రీస్తు పుట్టకను తెలి యచేస్తూ నాటికలు ప్రదర్శించారు.
నియోజకవర్గంలోని ప్రతి క్రైస్తవ కుటుంబానికి ఎమ్మెల్యే కొండయ్య ప్రత్యేక శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. క్రిస్మస్ పర్వదినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని అందరూ కుటుంబాలతో సంతోషంగా గడపాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు. అందుకు అనుగుణంగానే ప్రభుత్వం నుండి పెండింగ్ లో ఉన్న నెలవారీ వేతనాలు క్రైస్తవ సంఘాల బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేసినట్లు వివరించారు. అంతేకాకుండా వారి సమస్యలు గుర్తించి అభివృధ్దికి బాటలు వేయను న్నట్లు ఎమ్మెల్యే తెలిపారు.
అద్దంకి : క్రిస్మస్ పండుగ సందర్భంగా గురువారం నిర్వహించే ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్ధనలకు అన్ని చర్చిలను ముస్తా బు చేశారు. పట్టణంలోని పసుమర్తిపాలెంలో క్లౌ మెమోరియల్ సెంటినరీ తెలుగు బాప్టిస్టు టౌన్ చర్చి, కట్టకిందపాలెం లోని చర్చి, సంజీవనగర్, బెరకానగర్, ఎన్టిఆర్ నగర్ తదితర ప్రాంతాలలో ఉన్న చర్చిలతో పాటు అన్ని గ్రామాలలోని చర్చిలకు ప్రత్యేకంగా విద్యుత్ దీపాల అలంకరణ చేశారు.
