-RDO inspected railway houses for accommodation of RPF personnel

Palasa, December 24 (Andhra Jyoti): Officials are taking urgent steps to start a central school in Palasa by February next year. Steps are being taken to set up a Central Vidyalaya temporarily at the RPF Barracks at Palasa Railway Station. Steps are being taken to shift the existing barracks to railway guesthouses and railway houses. To this extent, Palasa RDO G. Venkatesh inspected these places on Wednesday. As the accommodation facility was not proper there, on the suggestion of the RPF personnel, they inspected the vacant accommodation complex in the railway guest house. It was found that there was enough accommodation for 20 people. As the RPF personnel said that these were not enough, they also looked at the railway houses in the area. The railway doctor's house was inspected for the accommodation of women RPF personnel. The RDO said that as the staff agreed that the area is currently vacant, it would be suitable for women and they would submit the details including all the house numbers to the District Collector. He directed the revenue staff to complete the entire process by December. The authorities are also ready to construct temporary rooms, toilets, drinking water and computer labs if necessary for the maintenance of the Central Vidyalaya. Officials say that a central team will come for further inspection. Complete steps are being taken to start classes one to five in Kendriya Vidyalaya from next year. The RDO was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner E. Srinivasulu, Deputy Tehsildar V. Giri, Town Planning staff and Revenue staff.
