అమరావతి, డిసెంబర్ 24:విశాఖ రుషికొండ ప్యాలస్‌పై మంత్రి వర్గ ఉపసంఘం సమావేశం జరిగిందని... హాస్పిటాలిటీ ఇండస్ట్రీకి ప్యాలెస్‌ను ఇచ్చే అంశంపై పరిశీలించినట్లు మంత్రి పయ్యావుల కేశవ్ (Minister Payyavual Keshav) తెలిపారు. కానీ కొంతమంది హోటల్ కోసం అదనపు స్థలం కావాలని అడిగారని చెప్పారు. రుషికొండ కింద ఉన్న 9 ఎకరాలు స్థలంలో ఏడు ఎకరాలు సీఆర్‌జెడ్ నిబంధనలోకి వస్తాయని.. ఆ 7 ఎకరాల్లో ఎలాంటి నిర్మాణం చేయకూడదన్నారు. తమకు ఇదో సవాల్‌గా మారిందన్నారు. ఎల్లుండి మరోసారి సమావేశం అవనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.


రుషికొండ నిర్మాణాలపై మళ్ళీ నిర్మాణాలు చేసే అవకాశం ఉందని.. పైన రెండు ఫ్లోర్లు వేసుకునే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు. రుషికొండ చివరి రెండు బ్లాక్‌లు ప్రజలకు, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహణకు, టూరిస్ట్ అవసరాల కోసం ఉంచుతామని చెప్పారు. తాజ్ గ్రూప్, లీలా హోటల్ గ్రూప్, అట్మాస్పియర్ కోర్ వంటి గ్రూప్ హోటల్స్ ముందుకు వచ్చాయని మంత్రి పయ్యవుల కేశవ్ పేర్కొన్నారు.

రుషికొండపై ఇప్పుడు తలబద్దలు కొట్టుకోడానికి ఆనాటి ప్రభుత్వమే కారణమని ఏపీ టూరిజం శాఖా మంత్రి కందుల దుర్గేష్ విమర్శించారు. ఆదాయం వచ్చే భవనాలు కూల్చి ప్యాలెస్ కట్టారని మండిపడ్డారు. మరోసారి రుషికొండ వినియోగంపై చర్చ జరుగుతుందన్నారు. అనేక ప్రపోజల్స్ వస్తున్నాయని.. వైబుల్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ఏంటి అనే అంశంపై దృష్టి పెట్టామని తెలిపారు. సముద్రం ఆటు పోట్ల వల్ల రుషికొండ కింద 9 ఎకరాల్లో 2 ఎకరాలు మాత్రమే అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయన్నారు. ఏడు ఎకరాలు సీఆర్‌జెడ్ నిబంధనల పరిధిలోకి ఉంటాయని మంత్రి కందుల దుర్గేష్ వెల్లడించారు.


కాగా.. రుషికొండ ప్యాలెస్‌ను ఎలా వినియోగించాలన్న అంశంపై ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కేబినెట్ సబ్ కమిటీ 3వ భేటీ ఈరోజు (బుధవారం) జరిగింది. సచివాలయంలో జరిగిన ఈ సమావేశంలో మంత్రులు పయ్యావుల కేశవ్, కందుల దుర్గేష్, పర్యాటక శాఖ స్పెషల్ చీఫ్ సెక్రటరీ అజయ్ జైన్, టూరిజం ఎండీ, ఏపీ టీఏ సీఈఓ ఆమ్రపాలి కాట, పర్యాటక శాఖ అధికారులు పాల్గొనగా... మంత్రి మంత్రి డోలా బాల వీరాంజనేయస్వామి వర్చువల్‌గా పాల్గొన్నారు.
