- తాగునీటి వసతి లేక ప్రజల అవస్థలు
కాగజ్నగర్, డిసెంబరు 24 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): కాగజ్నగర్ పట్టణానికి ఆనుకొని ఉన్న గ్రామం జీడిచేను సమస్యల వలయంలో కొట్టుమిట్టాడుతోంది. ఈ గ్రామంలో 150 కుటుంబాలు నివసిస్తున్నాయి. గత కొన్నేళ్ల నుంచి ఈ గ్రామంలో సరిగ్గా రోడ్డు సౌకర్యం లేదు. తాగునీటి వసతి లేదు. ఉన్న ఒకే ఒక బోరింగ్పై ఆధారపడి జీవిస్తున్నారు. నిత్యం తాగునీటికి ఇబ్బందులు పడాల్సి వస్తోందని పలువురు మహిళలు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. వర్షాకాలంలో తమగ్రామంలో పూర్తిగా వరత నీరు నిలుస్తోందని, పలుమార్లు అధికారులకు వినతి పత్రాలు సమర్పించినప్పటికీ కూడా పట్టించుకోవటం లేదని గ్రామస్థులు చెబుతున్నారు. తమకు వెంటనే తాగునీటి వసతి కల్పించాలని కోరుతున్నారు. ఇక ఎండ కాలంలో ఒకే ఒక బోరింగ్పై ఆధారపడి ఉండాల్సి వస్తోందని చెబుతున్నారు. చిన్నపాటి వర్షానికే గ్రామంలో నీరు నిలుస్తోందని, దీంతో దోమలు పెరిగి పోతున్నాయని తెలిపారు. వీధి దీపాలు కూడా సరిగ్గా వెలుగడం లేదని, దీంతో రాత్రి వేళల్లో బయటికి వెళ్లాలంటే ఇబ్బందులు పడాల్సిన పరిస్థితి ఉంది. ఉన్నతాధికారులు స్పందించి సమస్యలు పరిష్కరించాలని ప్రజలు కోరుతున్నారు.
