నాథులా పాస్.. దేశంలోనే చైనా సరిహద్దుగా ఉండే ఎత్తైన ప్రదేశాల్లో ఒకటి. సముద్ర మట్టానికి 14 వేల అడుగుల ఎత్తున సిక్కింలో ఉండే ఈ ప్రాంతం.. మలుపులు తిరిగే రహదారులు, పర్వతాలు, మంచుతో కప్పబడి ఉంటుంది. బైక్పై నాథులా పాస్ను చేరుకోవాలంటే సాహసమనే చెప్పాలి. అలాంటిది ఐదుగురు మహిళలతో కూడిన ఓ బృందం బెంగళూరు నుంచి బైక్స్పై ప్రయాణించి ఇటీవలే ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని చేరుకుంది. ఇందులో 76 ఏళ్ల ఓ మహిళ కూడా ఉండడం విశేషం. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన వీడియోని సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో పంచుకోగా.. అది కాస్తా వైరల్గా మారింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వీరి ప్రయాణానికి సంబంధించిన విశేషాలను తెలుసుకుందాం..
విమెన్ ఆన్ వీల్స్..!
మహిళలు బైక్ నడపడాన్ని ఇప్పటికీ కొంతమంది వింతగా చూస్తుంటారు. సమాజంలో ఇలాంటి మూసధోరణులను బద్దలుకొట్టి.. వారిలో స్వీయ నమ్మకాన్ని పెంపొందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో.. ఫైయాస్ అనే రైడర్ ‘సీఆర్ఎఫ్ విమెన్ ఆన్ వీల్స్’ సంస్థను స్థాపించారు. బైక్ నడపాలనే మక్కువ ఉంటే చాలు.. వారికి శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడమే కాకుండా రైడర్లుగా మారుస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటివరకు వెయ్యి మందికి పైగా మహిళలను బైక్ రైడర్లుగా తీర్చిదిద్దిన ఫైయాస్.. వారిని సాహస యాత్రలు చేసేలా కూడా ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఐదుగురు మహిళలతో (సీమ, సుభద్ర, స్వప్న, అనిత, శేష) కూడిన బృందం ఇటీవలే భారత్-చైనా సరిహద్దుగా ఉన్న ఎత్తైన నాథులా పాస్కు చేరుకుంది. ఈ క్రమంలో సీమ తల్లి సుభద్ర 76 ఏళ్ల వయసులో కూడా విభిన్న వాతావరణ పరిస్థితులను తట్టుకుని జర్నీని పూర్తి చేయడం విశేషం.
ప్రయాణం సాగిందిలా...
కేవలం సాహసయాత్ర చేసి లక్ష్యాన్ని చేరుకోవడానికి మాత్రమే కాకుండా.. మూసధోరణులను బద్దలుకొట్టడం, మోటార్సైక్లింగ్లో మహిళాశక్తిని చాటడంతో పాటు ఇతర మహిళల్లో స్ఫూర్తి నింపాలనే లక్ష్యంతో.. ఈ మహిళల బృందం సెప్టెంబర్ 29న బెంగళూరులో తమ ప్రయాణాన్ని మొదలుపెట్టింది. సిక్కిం నుంచి భూటాన్, నేపాల్ దేశాల మీదుగా భారత్-చైనా సరిహద్దు ప్రాంతమైన నాథులా పాస్ను చేరుకునే విధంగా ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించుకుందీ బృందం. ఈ క్రమంలోనే కర్ణాటక నుంచి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మీదుగా వీరి ప్రయాణం సాగింది. విశాఖపట్నం వరకు విశాల రహదార్లపై సాగిన తమ ప్రయాణం.. ఒడిశాకు వచ్చేసరికి ఇరుకైన రోడ్లపై ప్రయాణించాల్సి వచ్చిందని ఈ బృందం పేర్కొంది. అట్నుంచి కోల్కతా చేరుకున్న వీరు.. కాళికా మాత ఆశీస్సులు తీసుకుని ముందుకు సాగారు. మధ్యలో పలు అవాంతరాలు ఎదురైనా.. విభిన్న వాతావరణ పరిస్థితులను తట్టుకుని.. భూటాన్, నేపాల్ సరిహద్దులను దాటుకుంటూ సిక్కింకు చేరుకున్నారు.
ఆ ప్రదేశాలను సందర్శించి..
సిక్కింలో ఎక్కువ రోజులు గడిపిన వీరు.. పలు ప్రాంతాలను సందర్శించారు. మొదటగా అక్కడి సెవెన్ సిస్టర్స్ జలపాతపు అందాలను వీక్షించి.. ఆ తర్వాత జీరో పాయింట్కు చేరుకున్నారు. ఇది సిక్కింలోనే ఎత్తైన, క్లిష్టమైన ప్రదేశం. ఇక్కడ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు ఒక్కసారిగా పడిపోతుంటాయి. ఆక్సిజన్ కూడా తక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. అందుకే ఇక్కడకు వచ్చే యాత్రికులు పోర్టబుల్ ఆక్సిజన్ సిలిండర్ను వెంట తీసుకెళుతుంటారు. ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని కూడా దాటి బాబా హర్భజన్ సింగ్ మందిరాన్ని దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత తమ లక్ష్యమైన నాథులా పాస్ను చేరుకున్నారు. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన వీడియోను ‘విమెన్ ఆన్ వీల్స్’ తన ఇన్స్టాగ్రామ్లో పంచుకుంది.

First, after seeing the beauty of the Seven Sisters waterfall there, they reached the Zero Point. It is the highest and most difficult place in Sikkim. Here the temperatures drop suddenly. Oxygen is also low. That is why the pilgrims who come here carry a portable oxygen cylinder along with them. Passing this area also visited the shrine of Baba Harbhajan Singh.
