చెన్నై: తమిళనాడు తిరుచారపల్లి జిల్లాలో ఘోర రోడ్డు ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. బుధవారం సాయంత్రం ఆర్టీసీ బస్సు టైర్లు పేలి అదుపు తప్పింది. అవతలి రోడ్డుపై వస్తున్న రెండు కార్లను బస్సు ఢీకొట్టింది. కడలూరు జిల్లా తిట్టకూరు సమీపంలో జరిగిన రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో ఏడుగురు మృతి చెందారు. కార్లలో ప్రయాణిస్తున్న మరో ఎనిమిది మంది ప్రయాణికులు తీవ్రంగా గాయపడ్డారు. మృతుల సంఖ్య పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
ప్రమాదంతో అప్రమత్తమైన స్థానికులు,పోలీసులు క్షతగాత్రుల్ని అత్యవసర చికిత్స నిమిత్తం స్థానిక ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. తిరుచ్చి నుండి చైన్నై వెళ్తుండగా ప్రమాదం జరిగినట్లు పోలీసుల ప్రాథమిక విచారణలో వెల్లడైందని సమాచారం.

Chennai: A horrific road accident occurred in Tirucharappalli district of Tamil Nadu. On Wednesday evening, the tires of the RTC bus went out of control. The bus hit two cars coming on the other side of the road. Seven people died in a road accident near Thittakur in Cuddalore district. Eight other passengers in the cars were seriously injured. It seems that the death toll is likely to increase.
The locals and the police were alerted by the accident and rushed the injured to the local hospital for emergency treatment. It is reported that the preliminary investigation of the police revealed that the accident took place while traveling from Trichy to Chennai.
