జిల్లాలో వారం రోజుల నుంచి ముమ్మరంగా వరి నాట్లు సాగవుతున్నాయి. బుధవారం నుంచి ఎస్సారెస్పీ ద్వారా సాగు నీటిని విడుదల చేయనున్నామని నీటి పారుదల శాఖాధికారులు ప్రకటించారు. దీంతో జిల్లాలో వరి నాట్లు జోరందుకోనున్నాయి. నాట్లు వేసేందుకు కూలీలు దొరకక పోవడంతో రైతులు ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు. ఈ యాసంగి సీజన్లో 2,40,165 ఎకరాల్లో వివిధ రకాల పం టలు సాగుకానున్నాయని జిల్లా వ్యవసాయ శాఖాధికా రులు ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించారు. అందులో అత్యధికంగా 2,08,728 ఎకరాల్లో వరి పంట సాగు చేయనున్నారని అంచనా వేశారు. అంతర్గాం మండలంలో 5,108 ఎకరాలు, ధర్మారం మండలంలో 23.445 ఎకరాలు, ఎలిగేడు మండ లంలో 13,047 ఎకరాలు, జూలపల్లి మండలంలో 12,825 ఎకరాలు, కమాన్పూర్ మండలంలో 7,961 ఎకరాలు, మం థని మండలంలో 22,125 ఎకరాలు, ముత్తారం మండ లంలో 10,937 ఎకరాలు, ఓదెల మండలంలో 19,798 ఎక రాలు, పాలకుర్తి మండలంలో 9,337 ఎకరాలు, పెద్దపల్లి మండలంలో 28,151 ఎకరాలు, రామగిరి మండలంలో 11,006 ఎకరాలు, రామగుండం మండలంలో 2,005 ఎక రాలు, కాల్వశ్రీరాంపూర్ మండలంలో 19,282 ఎకరాలు, సుల్తానాబాద్ మండలంలో 23,501 ఎకరాల్లో వరి సాగు కానున్నది.
జిల్లాలో అత్యధికంగా ఎస్సారెస్పీ డి-83, డి-86 కాలువల కింద లక్షా 73 వేల ఎకరాల్లో పంటలు సాగు కానున్నా యని, ఎస్సారెస్పీ కింద అత్యధిక మంది రైతులు వరి పంటనే సాగు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే చాలా మంది రైతులు వ్యవసాయ బావుల కింద వరి నార్లు పోశారు. వ్యవసాయ బావుల కింద సాగయ్యే పొలాలతోపాటు ఎస్సారెస్పీ కింద సాగయ్యే పొలాల్లో కూడా వరి పంట సాగు చేసేందుకు రైతులు వరి నార్లు పోశారు. బావుల కింద ఇప్పటికే వరి నాట్లు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. దాదాపు 60 వేల ఎకరాలకు పైగా రైతులు వరి నాట్లు వేశారు. నాట్లు వేసేందుకు కూలీల కొరత తీవ్రంగా ఉందని రైతులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి వలస వచ్చిన కూలీలచే వరి నాట్లు వేయిస్తున్నారు.
ఫ ఆన్అండ్ఆఫ్ పద్ధతిలో ఎస్సారెస్పీ నీటి విడుదల..
ఈ సీజన్లో కూడా ఆన్అండ్ఆఫ్ (వారబంధీ) పద్ధతిలో ఎస్సారెస్పీ నీటిని విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. ఎనిమిది రోజుల పాటు ఆన్, 7 రోజులపాటు ఆఫ్ పద్ధతిలో నీటిని విడుదల చేయడానికి అధికారులు నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ సీజన్లో ప్రాజెక్టు నుంచి కాలువల ద్వారా ఎనిమిది తడు లుగా నీటిని విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. కాకతీయ కాలువ ద్వారా డి-5 నుంచి డి- 53 కాలువకు ఏడు రోజులు, డి- 53 నుంచి డి-94 వరకు గల కాలువలకు ఎనిమిది రోజులు 3,500 క్యూసెక్కుల చొప్పున నీటిని వదలనున్నారు. అంతేగాకుండా కాకతీయ కాలువ ఆధారంగా పంపు సెట్లు అమర్చుకున్న రైతులకు నీరు అందించేందుకు రోజు 500 క్యూసెక్యుల నీటిని కేటాయించారు. మిగతా కాలువల ద్వారా నిరంతరం నీటి విడుదల జరుగుతుంది. డిసెంబర్ 24వ తేదీ నుంచి 2026 ఏప్రిల్ 8వ తేదీ వరకు నీటిని సరఫరా చేయనున్నారు. అప్పటికి కొన్ని చోట్ల పంటలు పూర్తి కాకుంటే మాత్రం మరొక తడి ఇచ్చే అవకాశాలు న్నాయి. ఈ సీజన్కు 57.68 టీఎంసీలు సరిపోతాయని అధికారులు అంచనా వేశారు. మొత్తం 105 రోజుల పాటు నీరు విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. ఇందులో41.43 టీఎంసీలు కాకతీయ కాలువకు, 3.39 టీఎంసీలు సరస్వతీ కాలువకు, 1.48 టీఎంసీలు లక్ష్మీ కాలువకు, 2.29 టీఎంసీలు అల్లీసా గర్కు, 1.14 టీఎంసీలు గుత్పా ఎత్తిపోతల పథకానికి, 1.32 టీఎంసీలునిజామాబాద్, నిర్మల్ టీఎస్ఐడీసీ పథకానికి, 2.10 టీఎంసీలు మిషన్ భగీరథకు, 4.54 టీఎంసీల నీళ్లు ఆవిరి కానున్నాయని అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఎస్సారెస్పీలో పూర్తి స్థాయి నీటి మట్టం 80.5 టీఎంసీల వరకు నీళ్లు ఉన్నాయి. బుధవారం నుంచి ఆయకట్టు భూములకు నీటిని సరఫరా చేయనుండడంతో జిల్లాలో వరి నాట్లు ఊపందుకోనున్నాయి.

SSRSP water release in on and off mode..
SSRSP water will be released in on and off (weekly) mode this season as well. The authorities have decided to release the water on for eight days and off for 7 days. In this season, water will be released from the project through canals for eight times. Through the Kakatiya canal, water will be released at the rate of 3,500 cusecs for seven days for D-5 to D-53 canal and for eight days for D-53 to D-94 canals. Apart from this, 500 cusecs of water per day has been allocated to provide water to the farmers who have installed pump sets based on the Kakatiya Canal. There is continuous release of water through other canals. Water will be supplied from 24th December to 8th April 2026. If the crops are not completed by then, there are chances of another rain. Officials have estimated that 57.68 TMC will be enough for this season. Water will be released for a total of 105 days. Out of this 41.43 TMCs are for Kakatiya Canal, 3.39 TMCs for Saraswati Canal, 1.48 TMCs for Lakshmi Canal, 2.29 TMCs for Allisa Garh, 1.14 TMCs for Gutpa Lifts Scheme, 1.32 TMCs for Nizamabad, Nirmal TSIDC Scheme, Officials say that 2.10 tmcs will go to Mission Bhagirath and 4.54 tmcs of water will evaporate. At present, the full water level in the SSRSP is up to 80.5 TMCs. As water will be supplied to the ayakattu lands from Wednesday, paddy cultivation in the district will get a boost.
