Today, Hyderabad: Voter list special comprehensive The process of making advance arrangements for the amendment (SIR) survey is going on fast in the state. As the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) clarified that there will be SIR in Telangana also in the third phase, the state election machinery has accelerated the mapping survey at the field level. The last SIR survey was conducted in 2002 in united Andhra Pradesh. Along with the current voter list, the officials also provided the 2025 list to the BLOs. Based on this, BLOs are going to each voter's house and mapping if the name in the old list is in the current list. The details of their offspring are being collected. If the children's names are in the voter list, they are being mapped. If the voters in the old list are dead but in the new list, their names are deleted. This mapping will be crucial if there is an announcement that SIR is being carried out in the state.
Even 50 percent of the voters are not visible?
In the recent mapping in the state, it has been revealed that an average of 50 percent of the voters in the 2002 list in many places are not local. BLOs say that in some places it is not even more than 30 percent. The officials have identified the details of 33 districts, 76 revenue divisions, 620 mandals, 13 municipal corporations, 129 municipalities, 10,434 revenue villages and 12,769 gram panchayats in the state. There are total 83.04 lakh families in the state. If the SIR survey is conducted in the state, the BLOs will go door to door and conduct a survey on the voter list. As part of this, all 11 cards identified by the center will be taken as standard.

1. Passport
2. Identity card of central, state government and PSU employees
3. Credentials issued by Government/Local Bodies/Banks/LIC in the country prior to 01-07-1987
4. Birth certificate issued by competent authority
5. Caste Certificate
6. Educational Certificate issued by a recognized Board/University
7. Official Fixed Residence Certificate
8. Document of Forest Rights
9. National Identity Card
10. Family Identity Document issued by local authorities
