Swiggy Report: Biryani Bhala.. 200 orders per minute on Swiggy

Internet Desk: Although many types of food items are available across the country, it seems that food lovers are raving about biryani. Apart from these, burgers, pizzas and doshas are being ordered more. The leading food delivery app Swiggy released its 2025 report regarding online orders this year.. It revealed that a total of 9.3 crore biryani orders were received this year.
194 orders per minute..
In online orders, users chose biryani as their favorite dish.. 194 per minute. Orders are expected to arrive. Chicken biryani is the best among them. Swiggy said it received orders of 5.77 crore chicken biryanis. Burgers (4.42 crores), pizzas (4.01 crores) and doshas (2.62 crores) followed.
For local cuisines...
It said that local cuisines are more preferred and mountain cuisines have increased 9 times. Besides these, orders for other regional cuisines including Malabari, Rajasthani and Malwani have doubled. According to Swiggy's report, more orders are received during dinner than lunch. Swiggy reveals that he loves foreign cuisines too. Orders have also been received for Mexican (1.6 crore), Tibetan (1.2 crore) and Korean (47 lakh) dishes.
3 thousand orders from one person...
It is learned that a customer from Hyderabad has ordered 65 boxes of dry fruits biscuits for Rs.47 thousand. A customer from Mumbai has ordered 3 thousand times this year. That means nine orders a day. Swiggy reports that this is the highest in the country.
