work life balance | Internet desk: work life balance.. many bosses dismiss it. They argue that it is all fake. It is said that if you work by watching the clock, you will not achieve your goals. There has been an incessant debate on this topic for the past few years. Employees argue that there should be a balance between work life and personal life. Bosses say that there is a 'future' only if you work at the end of the week. But for the past 30 years, Mark Randolph, the co-founder of Netflix, has been putting a lot of emphasis on work-life balance. 'Pendown' is observed at 5pm on Tuesday.

Randolph, one of the founders of the leading global OTT platform Netflix (Netflix), has been following this practice for three decades. He said in his LinkedIn post that no matter how much work he does, he finishes his duties at five o'clock in the evening. This post is old but now it is going viral again. He said in his post that he has worked very hard all his life, but for work-life balance, he will spend that one day as he likes.

''Every Tuesday at five o'clock in the evening, my work ends. The same method has been followed for the past 30 years. Rain or shine on that day, there will be no change in the plan. That day I will go to the cinema and dinner with my friend. If nothing else, window shopping. I will not wear any conference calls that day. No matter how big the problem is, I finish my work by 4.55,'' said Randolph. He said that he follows the 'Saripoda Tuesday' rule with the intention of keeping his mind calm and not changing his point of view.

Many other CEOs in Silicon Valley dismiss Randolph's worklife philosophy. They believe that success will come only if they work with dedication regardless of working hours. At the same time, there are no CEOs like Randolph who say that time off from work is necessary for family ties and personal health. What is your opinion?
