Delhi: Social Media, Commercial Actor, AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan ( Pawan Kalyan) and another actor NTR ( NTR) filed separate petitions in the Delhi High Court. Justice Manpreet Pritam Singh Aroda heard these petitions on Monday. Sai Deepak, appearing on behalf of Pawan Kalyan, asked the judge to stop the use of photographs, videos and names of Pawan Kalyan and Jr. NTR on social media for commercial purposes and false publicity. It was brought to the notice of the court that many social media posts contained false information, morphed photos and defamatory content. Therefore, they asked for orders to be issued to remove such posts on Flipkart, Amazon, X and Google platforms.

The lawyers for the respondents responded to this. But at the same time, the judge responded that while ordering the removal of any links, the arguments of the users who posted them should also be heard. It is recommended that Instagram clearly print a disclaimer on posts made by fans. The judge also ordered Google to tell its users about the consequences of violating the privacy rights of celebrities and to suspend their accounts if anyone continues to do so. Each of the plaintiffs was directed to submit the IP login details of the disputed posts mentioned in the present petitions within three weeks. The next hearing was adjourned to May 12.
