అమెరికా.. సగటు ఇండియన్ డాలర్ డ్రీమ్కు కేరాఫ్ అడ్రస్. గత కొన్ని దశాబ్దాలుగా ఆ కలను నిజం చేసుకునేందుకు లక్షలాది మంది భారతీయులు శ్వేతసౌధం ముందు వాలిపోయారు.. తమ కలను సాకారం చేసుకున్నారు కూడా. కాని.. ఇప్పుడా భారతీయుల ఆ కలలసౌధం ట్రంప్ రూపంలో కుప్పకూలుతోంది. నిమిషానికో నిబంధన, రోజుకో చట్టం తీసుకొస్తూ సగటు భారతీయుని ఆశలపై నీళ్లు చల్లుతున్నారు. దీంతో అమెరికా అంటేనే అమెరికానా..? అనేలా చేస్తున్నారు. దీనికి నిదర్శనం ఈ ఏడాది జరిగిన డిపోర్టేషన్ల సంఖ్యే.
అగ్రరాజ్యం అధ్యక్షుడిగా డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ అధికారం చేపట్టాక అమెరికాలో సగటు భారతీయుడి జీవితం బిక్కుబిక్కుమంటూ గడుస్తోంది. ఇండియన్ల పరిస్థితే కాదు.. అక్కడుంటున్న అన్ని దేశాల వారి పరిస్థితీ ఇదే. అయితే మనది కొంచెం ఎక్కువ. దినదిన గండం.. నూరేళ్ల ఆయుష్ణులా.. ఎప్పుడు ఏ చట్టంతో కొడతాడో.. ఏ రూలును ఝులిపిస్తాడో.. ఏ వైపు నుంచి వేటు వేస్తాడోనన్న చందంలా మారింది అమెరికాలో నివశిస్తున్న విదేశీయుల పరిస్థితి. ఓ రోజు H1b అంటాడు.. మరో రోజు విద్యార్థులపై పడతాడు.. ఇంకో రోజు పన్నులంటాడు. ఇలా బతుకుదెరువు కోసం వెళ్లిన విదేశీయులకు కంటిమీద కునుకు లేకుండా చేస్తున్నాడు ట్రంపన్న.ఇలా ఏదో ఒక కారణ చెప్పి అక్కడ్నుంచి బలవంతంగా పంపించేస్తున్నాడు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా డిపోర్టేషన్కు సంబంధించి ఓ భయంకరమైన న్యూస్ బయటకొచ్చింది. అదేంటంటే అమెరికా నుంచి బహిష్కరణకు గురైన భారతీయుల సంఖ్య. ఈ ఒక్క సంవత్సరమే అక్రమంగా ఉన్నారంటూ 3,258 మంది భారతీయుల్ని అమెరికా బహిష్కరించిందన్న వార్త కలకలం రేపుతోంది. 2025 జనవరి 1 నుండి నవంబర్ 28 వరకూ జరిగిన డిపోర్టేషన్ల సంఖ్య ఇది.
2024తో పోలిస్తే ఈ ఏడాది బహిష్కరణల సంఖ్య రెండు రెట్లు అధికంగా ఉండడం మరింత ఆందోళన కలిగించే అంశం. 2009 తర్వాత నమోదైన అత్యధిక వార్షిక సంఖ్య కూడా ఇదే. దీనిపై అమెరికన్లే తీవ్రంగా స్పందించారు. ఈ విషయంలో అగ్రరాజ్యం అతి చేస్తోందని సగానికి పైగా అమెరికన్లు అభిప్రాయపడినట్లు Pew Research Centre సర్వేలో వెల్లడైంది.
రాజ్యసభలో మంత్రి రామ్జీ లాల్ సుమన్ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానంగా ఈ గణాంకాలను వెల్లడించారు. ట్రంప్ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకారం బహిష్కరణకు గురైన వాళ్లంతా అక్రమంగా దేశంలోకి ప్రవేశించినవాళ్లు, వీసా గడువు ముగిసిన తర్వాత కూడా అక్కడే ఉండిపోయినవాళ్లు. అలాగే ఏ డాక్యుమెంట్లూ లేకుండా అమెరికాలో నివాశముంటున్న వారు, లేదా నేర నిర్ధారణ జరిగిన వాళ్లు.

ఈ సర్వేను మరింత డీటెయిల్డ్గా చూస్తే.. మార్చిలో కేవలం 13% మంది రిపబ్లికన్లు ప్రభుత్వం అతి చేస్తోందని భావించగా, అక్టోబర్ నాటికి ఆ సంఖ్య 20 శాతానికి చేరింది. డెమొక్రాట్లలో ఈ అభిప్రాయం 86 శాతానికి పెరిగింది. రిపబ్లికన్లలో ఎక్కువ శాతం మంది ఇప్పటికీ అక్రమ వలసదారులందరినీ బహిష్కరించాలని కోరుకుంటున్నారు.
వీరిలో వైట్ రిపబ్లికన్లు అత్యధికంగా ఉండగా, సుమారు 40 శాతం మంది ఆసియా రిపబ్లికన్లు కూడా ఇదే అభిప్రాయాన్ని పంచుకున్నారు. డెమొక్రాట్లలో కేవలం 8 శాతం మంది మాత్రమే అందరినీ పంపించేయాలని కోరుకోగా, 16 శాతం మంది బ్లాక్ డెమొక్రాట్లు అక్రమ వలసదారులందరినీ బహిష్కరించాలని కోరారు. హిస్పానిక్ వర్గానికి చెందిన వారు అంటే రెండు పార్టీలలోనూ ఎవరినీ బహిష్కరించకూడదని కోరుకుంటున్న వారిలో అధికంగా ఉన్నారు.

తాజా ట్రావెల్ బ్యాన్ విస్తరణలో అమెరికా ఐదు దేశాలపై పూర్తి ట్రావెల్ బ్యాన్ విధించింది. బుర్కినా ఫాసో, మాలి, నైజర్, దక్షిణ సూడాన్, సిరియా దేశాలపై పూర్తి ప్రయాణ నిషేధం విధించారు. దీంతోపాటు పాలస్తీనా అథారిటీ జారీ చేసిన ప్రయాణ పత్రాలు ఉన్నవారిపై కూడా కఠిన ఆంక్షలు ఉంటాయి. ఇవి కాకుండా మరో 15 దేశాలు పాక్షిక ట్రావెల్ పరిమితులు ఎదుర్కోనున్నాయి. అంగోలా, ఆంటిగ్వా అండ్ బార్బుడా, బెనిన్, కోట్ డి ఐవోర్, డొమినికా, గాబన్, గాంబియా, మలావీ, మౌరిటానియా, నైజీరియా, సెనెగల్, టాంజానియా, టోంగా, జాంబియా, జింబాబ్వే పాక్షిక ఆంక్షల ఈ జాబితాలో ఉన్నాయి.

తొలుత ఈ ట్రావెల్ బ్యాన్ను ఈ ఏడాది జూన్లో ప్రకటించారు. అమెరికా జాతీయ, ప్రజా భద్రతను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని 19 దేశాల పౌరుల ప్రవేశాన్ని నిషేధించింది. ఆ తర్వాత అఫ్గానిస్తాన్, ఇరాన్, సోమాలియా, యెమెన్ వంటి దేశాలపై పూర్తి ప్రవేశ నిషేధం విధించగా.. లావోస్, వెనిజులా వంటి దేశాలపై పాక్షిక నిషేధాన్ని అమల్లోకి తెచ్చింది. అవినీతి పరులు, క్రిమినల్స్, మోసగాళ్ల విషయంలో అమెరికా అధికారులకు ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ తనిఖీలప్పుడు కష్టమవుతోందని ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు అమెరికా చెబుతోంది.
