కోల్కతా:ముర్షీదాబాద్ జిల్లాలో బాబ్రీ తరహా మసీదు నిర్మిస్తానని ప్రకటించి డిసెంబర్ 4న సస్పెండయిన తృణమూల్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఎమ్మెల్యే హుమయూన్ కబీర్ (Humayun Kabir)పై పశ్చిమబెంగాల్ (West Bengal) అసెంబ్లీ స్పీకర్ బిమన్ బెనర్జీ కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకున్నారు. కబీర్ శాసనసభ సభ్యత్వాన్ని రద్దు చేస్తు్న్నట్టు ప్రకటించారు. ముర్షీదాబాద్ జిల్లాలో ఇటీవల బాబ్రీ తరహా మసీదు నిర్మాణానికి కబీర్ శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. తాజాగా 'జనతా ఉన్నయన్ పార్టీ' అనే సొంత పార్టీని సోమవారంనాడు ప్రకటించారు.
బెల్డంగాలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో కబీర్ మాట్లాడుతూ, 2026 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో తమ పార్టీ పోటీ చేస్తుందని, తాను ముర్షీదాబాద్లోని రెజినగర్, బెల్డంగా నియోజకవర్గాల నుంచి పోటీ చేస్తానని చెప్పారు. ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేసే 8 మంది అభ్యర్థుల పేర్లను కూడా ఆయన ప్రకటించారు. ఎన్ని సీట్లలో తమ పార్టీ పోటీ చేస్తుందో తరువాత తెలియజేస్తామన్నారు. అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతా బెనర్జీని గద్దె దింపడమే తమ లక్ష్యమని చెప్పారు. మమతా బెనర్జీ ఒకప్పటి మనిషి కాదని, సామాన్య ప్రజానీకానికి అందుబాటులో లేరని ఆరోపించారు.
2015లోనూ సస్పెండైన కబీర్
ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతాబెనర్జీని విమర్శించడంతో 2015లోనూ ఆరేళ్ల పాటు కబీర్ను టీఎంసీ నుంచి సస్పెండ్ చేశారు. ఆ తర్వాత 2016లో రెజినగర్ నుంచి స్వతంత్ర అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థి చేతిలో ఓడిపోయారు. అనంతరం ఆయన కాంగ్రెస్లో చేరారు. 2019 లోక్సభ ఎన్నికలకు ముందు కాంగ్రెస్కు గుడ్బై చెప్పి బీజేపీలో చేరారు. ముర్షీదాబాద్ లోక్సభ నుంచి బీజేపీ టిక్కెట్పై ఆయన పోటీ చేశారు. అయితే టీఎంసీ, కాంగ్రెస్ తర్వాత మూడో ప్లేస్లో నిలిచారు. తిరిగి 2021లో ఆయన టీఎంసీలో చేరి భరత్పూర్ ఎమ్మెల్యేగా గెలిచారు.

Kabir suspended in 2015
Kabir was suspended from TMC for six years in 2015 for criticizing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Then in 2016, he contested as an independent candidate from Reginagar and lost to the Congress candidate. Later he joined Congress. Before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he said goodbye to the Congress and joined the BJP. He contested from Murshidabad Lok Sabha on BJP ticket. But TMC and Congress stood at the third place. Back in 2021 he joined TMC and won Bharatpur MLA.
