NDRF mock drill at Hussainsagar

Khairatabad: NDRF and DRF personnel conducted a mock drill in coordination with various government departments on how to rescue victims during floods and disasters. This program was organized at View Point on Necklace Road in Hyderabad on Monday. National Disaster Management Authority Advisor Sudhir Behara and Telangana Fire DG Vikramsingh Mann were present as the chief guests. After examining the arrangements, he expressed impatience. After that, the NDRF and DRF staff conducted a demonstration on how to bring out the trapped people safely, rescuing the fishermen who accidentally fell into the water, how to get out with remote control boats when the boat is not available, how to bring a drowning person to the yard swimmers, how to do CPR, how to take the medical personnel to the hospital. This mock drill is being conducted in 12 districts across the state.
