మధ్యప్రదేశ్ (Madhya Pradesh)లోని విదిషలో ఒక అనూహ్య సంఘటన చోటు చేసుకుంది. ఒక తండ్రి(Father) తన 23 ఏళ్ల కుతురుకి వారి ఆచార పద్దతి(Ritual method)లో అంత్యక్రియలు(funeral) నిర్వహించాడు. పిండితో ఆమె బొమ్మను తయారు చేసి దానికి కర్మలు చేశాడు. విచిత్రం ఏంటంటే ఆ కూతురు బతికే ఉంది. గ్రామంలో ఈ విషయం తెలిసి అందరూ భావోద్వేగానికి గురయ్యారు. అసలు విషయానికి వస్తే.. సవితా కుష్వాహ ( Savita Kushwaha) కొన్ని రోజుల క్రితం ఇల్లు వదిలి వెళ్లిపోయింది. కుటుంబ సభ్యులు బంధువులు, స్నేహితులు ఇలా అందరినీ వాకబు చేశారు. చివరికి ఆమె ఒక యువకుడితో వెళ్లిపోయినట్లు తెలుసుకున్నారు. దాంతో సవితకు కుటుంబం సభ్యులు షాక్ తిన్నారు.
తమ కూతురు చేసిన పనికి గ్రామంలో తలెత్తుకోలేని పరిస్థితి.. తమ కూతురు చనిపోయింది..ఆమెకు తమ ఆచారం ప్రకారం అంత్యక్రియలు నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలోనే పిండితో సవిత దిష్టిబొమ్మ తయారు చేశారు, దాన్ని పాడెపై మోసుకుంటూ గ్రామంలో ఊరేగించారు. శ్మశానవాటికకు వెళ్లి ఆ బొమ్మకు అంత్యక్రియలు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో పాటు గ్రామస్థులు కూడా విచ్చేశారు. ఈ విషయం గురించి సవిత తండ్రి మాట్లాడుతూ..నా కూతురుని ఎంతో ప్రేమతో చూసుకున్నాం, ఆమె అడిగిన ప్రతి ఒక్కటీ ఇప్పించాం. నా కూతురు చేసిన పనికి మేం అవమానంతో కుంగిపోయాం..నా జీవితంలో అత్యంత విషాదకరమైన క్షణం. ఆమె మా దృష్టిలో చనిపోయింది.. అందుకే అంత్యక్రియలు చేశాం అని అన్నారు.
English Translation
An unexpected incident took place in Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh. A father conducted a funeral for his 23-year-old daughter in their ritual method. He made her doll out of flour and performed rituals on it. The strange thing is that the daughter is alive. Everyone in the village became emotional after knowing this. Actually Savita Kushwaha left the house a few days ago. Family members, relatives, friends, etc. Eventually it was learned that she had left with a young man. Savita's family members were shocked by that.
Unable to arise in the village because of what their daughter did..their daughter died..they decided to perform her last rites according to their custom. In this order, a effigy of Savita was made out of flour, which was carried on a leg and paraded through the village. They went to the crematorium and performed the last rites of the doll. Family members as well as villagers also attended this event. Savita's father said about this matter..we took care of my daughter with a lot of love and gave her everything she asked for. We were devastated by what my daughter had done..the saddest moment of my life. She died in our sight.. That's why we did the last rites.
