My husband Srinunayak worked as Sarpanch earlier. This time people crowned me with the belief that I will serve. The aim is to provide infrastructure in Tanda. Development works will be undertaken with the cooperation of ward members. We will work hard to change the appearance of Tanda.

New ruling groups will be established in the villages. The swearing-in ceremony will continue on Monday as per the rules as per the directives of the state government. We have already issued instructions to the MDPOs to make all arrangements for this. We have taken all precautions to avoid such mistakes.

ZP Center (Mahabubnagar):Rural Seemales are the backbone of the country. The post of Sarpanch became responsible in villages. Aiming at village swaraj, the government established a three-tier panchayat raj system in 1959 namely district, block and gram panchayat. It decided to set up a mechanism to implement sustainable governance and utilization of resources according to the needs of the local people. The Panchayati Raj system, which was established with the will to improve the living standards of the villagers, is losing its groove day by day. In any village there are problems. There are many panchayats that have no access to internal roads, lack of sanitation and even today have no access to their own buildings. As the newly won sarpanches will take office on Monday, it remains to be seen how far they will solve the problems and how they will govern. There are 423 gram panchayats in the district and 134 GPs do not have proper buildings. Out of this, 42 offices are in rented buildings, 92 buildings are community halls, angannwadi centers, schools and other centers are temporarily adjusted and Panchayat activities are continuing. In some places, the buildings are still being built in sheet sheds. Some other buildings have reached a dilapidated state. Many offices have no toilets and urinals and the staff are facing difficulties. For administrative convenience, the previous government formed Thandas into separate Gram Panchayats. Along with the Thandas, some Gram Panchayats are left without a nest. Although the government has granted new buildings to many GPs, they have stopped in the middle due to lack of funds.

There are many panchayats that do not have their own buildings. Panchayats have ruling classes or village administration has become disorganized. Even though the government has appointed special officers, the village has not been affected till now due to the problem of lack of funds. With this, the local secretaries somehow pushed. Although the secretaries provide the administration within their jurisdiction, the public representatives or the people are also bearing the problems. If the funds provided by the Central and State Governments were delayed, but if there were ruling classes, the sarpanch and ward members would have used their influence to clean the basic needs of the people such as drinking water, street lights and sewers. The ruling class used to explain the local problems to the district officials, MLAs, MPs and MLCs and try to get additional funds. With the sarpanchs taking charge on Monday, the governance of the village will fall into a groove.
