న్యూఢిల్లీ:మహాత్మాగాంధీ నేషనల్ రూరల్ ఎంప్లాయిమెంట్ గ్యారెంటీ చట్టం (ఎంజీఎన్ఆర్ఈజీఏ) స్థానంలో కేంద్రం తీసుకు వచ్చిన 'వికసిత్ భారత్ గ్యారెంటీ ఫర్ రోజ్గార్ అండ్ ఆజీవికా మిషన్ (గ్రామీణ్)' (వీబీ జీ రామ్ జీ) బిల్లుకు రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపతి ముర్ము (Droupadi Murmu) ఆదివారంనాడు ఆమోదం తెలిపారు. దీంతో ఈ బిల్లు చట్టంగా మారింది. గతంలో 100 రోజులు పని దినాలు కల్పించిన ఎంజీఎన్ఆర్ఈజీఏ స్థానంలో 125 రోజుల పాటు గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో అవసరమైన వారికి పనిదినాలు కల్పించే లక్ష్యంతో కేంద్రం 'వీబి-జీ రామ్ జీ' బిల్లును తెచ్చింది.
ఇటీవల ముగిసిన పార్లమెంటు శీతాకాల సమావేశాల్లో 'వీబి-జీ రామ్ జీ' బిల్లును పార్లమెంటు ముందుకు కేంద్రం తీసుకువచ్చింది. సమవేశాల చివరిరోజు లోక్సభలో 8 గంటల చర్చ అనంతరం బిల్లుకు ఆమోదం లభించింది. వెంటనే రాజ్యసభకు పంపి 4 గంటల చర్చ అనంతరం మూజువాణి ఓటుతో ఆమోదం తెలిపారు. చర్చకు తగిన సమయం ఇవ్వలేదంటూ విపక్షాలు రాజ్యసభలో వాకౌట్ చేశాయి. ఉభయసభలు ఆమోదించిన ఈ బిల్లును రాష్ట్రపతి ఆదివారంనాడు ఆమోదించడంతో బిల్లు చట్టంగా మారింది.

New Delhi:President Draupadi Murmu on Sunday approved the 'Vikasit Bharat Guarantee for Livelihood and Livelihood Mission (Grameen)' (VBG Ramji) Bill brought by the Center to replace the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
