ఇంటర్నెట్ డెస్క్: ఉత్తర భారతం చలికి వణుకుతోంది. జమ్మూకశ్మీర్, హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్లలో తాజా హిమపాతం (Kashmir snowfall) మొదలైంది. ఎత్తైన భూభాగాల్లో హిమపాతం పెరిగి లోయలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల కనిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు ఘనీభవన స్థానం కంటే దిగువకు పడిపోయాయి. జలవనరుల ఉపరితల భాగాల్లో పలుచని మంచు పొరలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. అనేక ప్రాంతాల్లో సున్నా డిగ్రీల సెల్సియస్ కంటే తక్కువ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదవుతున్నట్లు వాతావరణ శాఖ వెల్లడించింది. గుల్మార్గ్లోని స్కై రిసార్ట్, సోనామార్గ్, దూద్పత్రి సహా దక్షిణ, ఉత్తర కశ్మీర్లోని ఎత్తైన ప్రాంతాలలో భారీగా మంచు కురుస్తుండటంతో ఆ ప్రాంతాలు శ్వేతవర్ణంలోకి మారిపోయాయి.
కశ్మీర్ అంతటా పరుచుకున్న మంచు దుప్పటి ఓ వైపు పర్యాటకులను ఆకర్షిస్తుండగా.. మరోవైపు భారీగా మంచు పేరుకుపోయి పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో రోడ్లను మూసివేయడంతో ప్రజలు ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. భారీ వర్షం కారణంగా పలు చోట్ల కొండ చరియలు విరిగిపడటంతో జమ్ము-శ్రీనగర్ జాతీయ రహదారిపై రాకపోకలు నిలిపివేసినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. రహదారిపై అడ్డంకులను తొలగించి రాకపోకలను పునరుద్ధరించడానికి చర్యలు చేపట్టినట్లు తెలిపారు. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో మంచు తీవ్రత ఎక్కువయ్యే అవకాశం ఉండడంతో అధికారులు అప్రమత్తమయ్యారు. శీతాకాల సంసిద్ధతపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఒమర్ అబ్దుల్లా (CM Omar Abdullah) నేతృత్వంలో శనివారం ఉన్నత స్థాయి సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. భారీ హిమపాతాన్ని ఎదుర్కోవడానికి రోడ్ క్లియరెన్స్, నిరంతర విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా, తాగునీటి లభ్యత వంటి వాటిపై దృష్టి సారించినట్లు సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు.
