చేగూరు: భావోద్వేగాలను అదుపులో ఉంచుకునేందుకు ధ్యానం ఉపకరిస్తుందని ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి సీపీ రాధాకృష్ణన్ అన్నారు. ధ్యానం చేస్తున్నవారి మనసు ఏకాగ్రతతో ఉంటుంటని తెలిపారు. మానసిక ప్రశాంతత కోసం అందరూ ధ్యానం చేయాలని సూచించారు. రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా చేగూరులోని కన్హా శాంతివనంలో హార్ట్ఫుల్నెస్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్, శ్రీరామచంద్ర మిషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రపంచ ధ్యాన దినోత్సవం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి సీపీ రాధాకృష్ణన్, గవర్నర్ జిష్ణుదేవ్ వర్మ, మంత్రి శ్రీధర్బాబు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘‘డిసెంబరు 21ను ప్రపంచ ధ్యాన దినోత్సవంగా ఐరాస ప్రకటించింది. యోగా, ధ్యానంలో భారత్ ఎప్పుడూ ముందుంటుంది. మనదేశం ఓ ఆధ్యాత్మిక కేంద్రం. వికసిత్ భారత్లో ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధే కాదు.. దేశ శాంతి కూడా భాగంగా ఉంటుంది’’ అని పేర్కొన్నారు. హార్ట్ఫుల్నెస్ సంస్థకు ఆయన అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. శాంతి, సామరస్యం, ఆధ్యాత్మికతను ఈ సంస్థ ప్రోత్సహిస్తోందన్నారు. అందరూ ధ్యానం చేసేలా శ్రీరామచంద్ర మిషన్ అధ్యక్షుడు కమలేష్ డి పటేల్ (దాజీ) చొరవ చూపుతున్నారని చెప్పారు.
ధ్యానంతో ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండొచ్చని కమలేశ్ డి.పటేల్ (దాజీ) అన్నారు. ‘‘ధ్యానం ద్వారా ఒత్తిడి, ఆందోళనను జయించొచ్చు. మనసు కేంద్రంగా ధ్యానం చేస్తే సత్ఫలితాలు ఉంటాయి. మనసు ప్రశాంతంగా ఉంటే ఏకాగ్రత వస్తుంది. తద్వారా సునాయాసంగా విజయాలు సాధించొచ్చు. ధ్యానం చేశాక వచ్చే మార్పును మనం గమనించొచ్చు’’ అని తెలిపారు. కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి, గవర్నర్లు ఒకే వేదికపై ధ్యానం చేశారు.
