JGame Maya.. The Vedantists call Jiva Maya. Apart from those theories that are not bounded by one city, there is a confusion of what is true and what is fake due to some intellectuals who are excessively misusing modern technology like AI. People's pockets are bulging because of the scumbags who are waiting to see how they can use any new inventions for their own benefit. Apart from that, personal privacy, reputation, national security and democratic systems are at risk.

A video in which Rajya Sabha member Sudhamurthy suggests investing in certain companies to get unexpected returns has gone viral recently. Recently she said that she never said that and the video was fake. In the past, deepfake videos of Infosys Narayana Murthy and Mukesh Ambani saying that if they invest in some companies, they will get huge profits. Believing in them, two people in Bengaluru made arathi camphor of one crore rupees. Another woman in the same city lost 3.7 crores after seeing such a video of a thief in the form of famous spiritualist Jaggi Vasudev believing it to be true. A few days ago, fake videos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Ratan Tata promoting investments appeared on the net. A deepfake video of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu saying 'put Rs. 22 thousand... get regular income through phone' has also surfaced recently. Ketugals also created fake scenes of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy promoting a website. Cases of cyber bandits making video and audio calls to friends and relatives by diverting advanced technology and extorting huge amounts of money from innocent people are also coming to light.  To improve the daily life of the people and to support the development of the country, those who are turning the technology into a tool for frauds and misdeeds are the pests of the society! To dilute the parties in the crowd, they used to shout with or without microphones. They used to pay a lot of money and stick posters of thieves at night. With the advent of AI, the work of these cunning leaders has become easier. With its help, it is as easy as drinking fresh water to put the image of the opponent in front of them and make controversial and false comments. They are diverting people's attention by creating stolen videos and audios. During the last elections, Modi had expressed concern that AI was being used to distort the comments of senior BJP leaders including himself. The opposition parties are angry that the BJP is also ignoring them. According to observations, 75 percent of Indians watched deepfake videos during the last general election. One in four of them believed them to be true. Fake videos of Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh campaigning on behalf of a party have caused a stir. A deepfake video recently made the rounds of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla announcing that the Center will provide Rs 12,000 to poor families. The misguided campaigns that are being carried out as if the unsaid is said, as if it did not happen, and as if it did not exist, have a profound effect on people's opinions and thoughts. In the end, they become an ax to the spirit of democracy.

More than 90 crore people are using internet in our country. 49 crore people have active social media accounts. Deepfake images, videos and audios are going to the public in no time. According to a study by McAfee, three-quarters of Indians have watched deepfake videos in the past year. Sexual harassment of women online has already increased due to the sexism that plagues the society. With the addition of deepfakes, personal privacy is in the air. The fact that some miscreants are maintaining social media accounts and websites with deepfake videos of actresses and other women shows how much confidence is rising among them as to what they are doing. There have been increasing incidents of some anthropomorphic werewolves collecting photos of young women and sharing them on social media, turning them naked and demanding money. Attempts to damage the reputation of organizations and individuals with fake campaigns are also going on freely.

Even though so many deepfakes are causing harm to the society, experts express their concern that there is no strong domestic law to stop them. Still, governments should think about it. Social media should be controlled to remove fake videos and audio from time to time. Sumati Shatakakarta preached that one should listen to whoever says it, and those who know the facts and move forward without immediately believing what they hear are wise. So instead of blindly believing everything that appears on the internet, check the information with mainstream newspapers and media. That is how the truths should be understood. Otherwise, in the magical world of AI, our eyes and ears will fool us!
