ఈనాడు,హైదరాబాద్: నేల ఏ పంటకు అనుకూలంగా ఉంది..వాతావారణం ఎలా ఉంది..పంటలకు చీడపీడలేవైనా వ్యాపించాయా..నివారణకు ఎలాంటి పురుగుమందులు వాడాలి...ఉత్పత్తుల అమ్మకానికి మార్కెట్ అనుకూలంగా ఉందా? లేదా...తదితర పనులన్నీ సెన్సర్లు అమర్చిన యంత్రాలే చక్కబెడితే ఎలా ఉంటుంది. కృత్రిమ మేధ, రోబోటిక్స్, ఇంటర్నెట్ ఆఫ్ థింగ్స్ (ఐవోటీ) సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానంతో సేద్యానికి సంబంధించిన సమస్త పనులన్నీ శారీరక శ్రమ లేకుండా వాటికవే జరిగిపోతే అన్నదాతకు ఎంత హాయిగా ఉంటుంది. అలాంటివన్నీ సాకారం చేసే దిశగా అడుగుపడింది. తెలంగాణలో ‘స్మార్ట్ సేద్యం’ లక్ష్యంగా హైదరాబాద్లోని ప్రొఫెసర్ జయశంకర్ వ్యవసాయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం.. భారతీయ స్టేట్బ్యాంక్ ఆర్థిక సహకారంతో దేశంలో తొలిసారిగా అధునాతన ఏఐ, రోబోటిక్స్, ఐవోటీ ఆధారిత (అరిసా ల్యాబ్) ప్రయోగశాలను ఏర్పాటుచేసింది. అగ్రి వర్సిటీ అందుకు ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించి ఇవ్వగా..వర్సిటీ పూర్వ విద్యార్థి, స్టేట్బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా ఛైర్మన్ చల్లా శ్రీనివాసులుశెట్టి.. కార్పొరేటు సామాజిక బాధ్యత (సీఎస్ఆర్)కింద రూ.15 కోట్ల ఆర్థిక సాయం అందజేశారు. తొమ్మిది నెలల వ్యవధిలోనే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు రూపకల్పన జరిగింది. వాతావరణ మార్పులు, భూసారం దెబ్బతినడం, పంటలకు తెగుళ్లు, అధిక ఎరువులు, దిగుబడుల లోపం, అన్నదాతలకు అధిక వ్యయాలు, కూలీల కొరత వంటి సవాళ్లకు తక్కువ ఖర్చుతో కూడిన శాస్త్రీయ పరిష్కారాలను చూపించడం ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం. రైతుల సగటు వయసు పెరుగుతుండడం..యువత వ్యవసాయంపై ఆసక్తి కోల్పోతున్న పరిస్థితులను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని..ఆధునిక శిక్షణలు, సాంకేతికతలను అందుబాటులోకి తేవడం ద్వారా యువతను సేద్యం వైపు ఆకర్షించి..ఆ రంగాన్ని సుస్థిరంగా భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు అందించడం దీని ఉద్దేశం.

- నేలకు సెన్సర్ల అనుసంధానం: నేలలో తేమ, పోషకాలు, రసాయన ప్రమాణాలను తక్షణమే కొలిచే ఆధునిక సెన్సర్లు.. ఆటోమేటిక్ డ్రిప్ సాగు విధాన వ్యవస్థతో అనుసంధానమై పనిచేస్తాయి. తేమస్థాయి తగ్గిన వెంటనే డ్రిప్ దానికదే తడులను అందిస్తుంది. తద్వారా నీటి వినియోగం 40% వరకు తగ్గుతుంది.

ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటుచేసిన నెట్హౌస్లో వాతావరణ పర్యవేక్షణకు..ఉష్ణోగ్రత, తేమను కొలిచే సెన్సర్లు అమర్చారు. ఇవి డ్రిప్, ఫాగర్ వ్యవస్థలతో అనుసంధానమై వాతావరణ మార్పుల ఆధారంగా నీటిపారుదల, ఉష్ణోగ్రతను నియంత్రిస్తూ పంటకు అనుకూల వాతావరణాన్ని సృష్టిస్తాయి.
రైౖతులు పొలాలకు వెళ్లాల్సిన అవసరం లేకుండానే పంటలు సాగుచేసే(స్మార్ట్ వ్యవసాయం) దిశగా రాష్ట్రాన్ని నిర్మించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ ల్యాబ్ను ప్రారంభించాం. వచ్చే ఐదేళ్లలో సంబంధిత వ్యవసాయ యంత్ర పరికరాలను తయారుచేసి, చౌక ధరలతో సరఫరా చేస్తాం. రాష్ట్రంలోని రైతులకు అత్యున్నత సాంకేతికత అందించడం ద్వారా రైతులకు సేవలందిస్తాం.
అగ్రి వర్సిటీలోని డిజిటల్ వ్యవసాయ కేంద్రంలో 4 ఎకరాల్లో ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును చేపట్టారు. 3,000 చదరపు అడుగుల భవనం నిర్మించి.. ల్యాబ్, శిక్షణ కేంద్రాలు, మానిటరింగ్ వ్యవస్థ తదితరాల నిర్వహణకు వినియోగించారు. దాదాపు మూడు ఎకరాల స్థలాన్ని పంట క్షేత్రాలు, ప్రయోగాల నిర్వహణకు వినియోగిస్తున్నారు.

Aiming at 'smart farming' in Telangana, Prof. Jayashankar Agricultural University, Hyderabad has set up the country's first advanced AI, Robotics, IoT-based laboratory (Arisa Lab) with the financial support of the State Bank of India. Agri University has prepared a plan for that...Challa Srinivasulushetti, an alumnus of the University and Chairman of State Bank of India, has given financial assistance of Rs.15 crore under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The project was designed within nine months. The main objective of the project is to show cost-effective scientific solutions to the challenges of climate change, soil erosion, crop pests, excess fertilizers, yield deficits, high costs to farmers and labor shortages. The average age of farmers is increasing..keeping in mind the situation where young people are losing interest in agriculture..the aim is to attract the youth towards agriculture by making available modern trainings and technologies..to provide that sector sustainably to the future generations. Skill development training is provided to innovators. Using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics will promote precision and efficient farming practices.
Net House Demo Unit
In the net house set up here, sensors for measuring temperature and humidity are installed for weather monitoring. These are connected with drip and fogger systems and control irrigation and temperature based on climate change to create a suitable climate for the crop. We have started this lab with the aim of building the state towards cultivation (smart agriculture). In the next five years, we will manufacture the relevant agricultural machinery and supply it at cheap prices. We will serve the farmers of the state by providing them with the latest technology.
The project was undertaken in 4 acres at the Digital Agriculture Center of Agri University. A building of 3,000 square feet was constructed and used for the maintenance of lab, training centers, monitoring system etc. About three acres of land is used for crop fields and experiments.
