ఢిల్లీలో వాయు కాలుష్యం అంతకంతకూ పెరిగిపోతోంది. ఈ తరుణంలో ఢిల్లీ పర్యావరణ మంత్రి మంజిందర్ సిర్సా, దేశ రాజధానిలో వాహన కార్యకలాపాలపై కొత్త ఆంక్షలను ప్రకటించారు. డిసెంబర్ 18 నుంచి బీఎస్4 వాహనాలు నగరంలో ప్రవేశించకూడదని వెల్లడించారు.
ఢిల్లీ వెలుపల రిజిస్టర్ చేసుకున్న BS4, BS3 వాహనాల ప్రవేశంపై కఠినమైన పరిమితులను విధించారు. పాత పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్తో నడిచే వాహనాల వల్ల పెరుగుతున్న గాలి నాణ్యత సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించడానికి ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. నిర్మాణ సామగ్రిని రవాణా చేసే ట్రక్కులపై కూడా కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని మంత్రి తన ప్రకటనలో హెచ్చరించారు. ఉల్లంఘనలకు పాల్పడితే ఈ వాహనాలపై జరిమానాలు విధించడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా.. స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటామని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
లక్షల వాహనాలపై ప్రభావం!
ప్రధానంగా.. ఢిల్లీ వెలుపల రిజిస్టర్ చేసుకున్న BS-VI కాని వాహనాల ప్రవేశాన్ని అక్కడి ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా నిషేధించింది. ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయం లక్షల వాహనాలు ఢిల్లీలో ప్రవేశించకుండా చేస్తుంది. 10 సంవత్సరాల కంటే ఎక్కువ వయసున్న పాత డీజిల్ వాహనాలు, 15 సంవత్సరాల కంటే ఎక్కువ వయసైన పాత పెట్రోల్ వాహనాలను కలిగి ఉన్న రోజువారీ ప్రయాణికులు ఈ నిషేధం వల్ల ప్రభావితమవుతారు.
బీఎస్6 ప్రమాణాలు తప్పనిసరి
ఇప్పుడు ఢిల్లీలో తిరగాలంటే.. మీ వాహనం బీఎస్6 ఉద్గార ప్రమాణాలను అనుగుణంగా ఉండాల్సిందే. 2020 ఏప్రిల్ తరువాత ఈ బీఎస్6 రూల్స్ అమలులోకి వచ్చాయి. కాబట్టి 2020 తరువాత తయారైన దాదాపు అన్ని వాహనాలు దీనికి అనుగుణంగా అప్డేట్స్ పొందాయి. బీఎస్6 వాహనాలు (పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్) మాత్రమే కాకుండా.. CNG, ఎలక్ట్రిక్, హైబ్రిడ్ వాహనాలు నగరంలో తిరగవచ్చు.
మోటారు వాహనాల చట్టం ప్రకారం.. నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించిన వారికి భారీ జరిమానా విధిస్తారు. పదే పదే ఉల్లంఘనలకు పాల్పడితే.. వాహనాలను జప్తు చేస్తారు. అంతే కాకుండా చెల్లుబాటు పొల్యూషన్ సర్టిఫికెట్ కూడా తప్పనిసరి. లేకుంటే సమస్యలు ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి వస్తుంది.

Daily commuters owning old diesel vehicles more than 10 years old and old petrol vehicles more than 15 years old will be affected by this ban.
BS6 norms mandatory
Now to drive in Delhi.. your vehicle has to comply with BS6 emission norms. These BS6 rules came into effect after April 2020. So almost all the vehicles manufactured after 2020 got updates accordingly. Apart from BS6 vehicles (petrol, diesel), CNG, electric and hybrid vehicles can ply in the city.
According to the Motor Vehicles Act, violators will be fined heavily. Vehicles will be impounded for repeated violations. Apart from that a valid pollution certificate is also mandatory. Otherwise there will be problems.
