Internet Desk: Student Leader Sharif With the death of Usman Bin Hadi, there is a tense situation in Bangladesh (Bangladesh). Anti-India concerns are burning. On the other hand, looking at the way that country has been acting in the Bay of Bengal for the past few months, it is clear that it is provoking India. This is being strengthened by the fact that the fishing boats of that country are often entering Indian maritime waters and the Bangladesh Navy is increasing its patrols in the region like never before. Alleging that they had entered their territorial waters, the Indian boat carrying 16 fishermen was rammed by the Bangladesh Navy personnel and they were all thrown into the sea. The Indian Coast Guard personnel reached the spot immediately and rescued 11 people. Five others are still missing. While the survivors of this accident say that it is a Bangladeshi boat, the Bangladeshi authorities claim that their patrol boat is 12 miles away from the incident site. There have been discussions. Since then, Bangladesh's relations with India have been on the decline. At the same time it is gradually getting closer to Pakistan. Besides, it is trying to expand its influence in the Bay of Bengal. Yunus's comments also add strength to that. Earlier, Yunus commented that Bangladesh is the protector of the sea for the entire region. According to his comments, the Bangladesh Navy has intensified patrolling in the sea border areas. India is detaining fishermen, confiscating their boats and engaging in provocations with coast guard personnel.

More provocations after notification

Bangladesh is going to have elections in February next year. In this background, arguments are being heard that the Yunus government is trying to gain benefit by provoking anti-India sentiments. On the other hand, recently there has been an increase in the number of Bangladeshi fishing boats crossing India's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). On December 16, boats from Bangladesh entered Indian waters. 35 fishermen were detained by the Coast Guard personnel and 500 kg of fish were seized. Earlier, Indian forces arrested eight boats and 170 crew members. Last month, the Election Commission released the schedule for the elections in Bangla. Since then, these types of incidents have increased.

At a time when the influence of Pakistan and China on Dhaka is increasing, India is facing another challenge after 1971 (India-Bangla War). In the wake of the recent death of Sharif Usman Bin Hadi, there has been an intense level of sentiment against India. A Hindu man was killed by rioters in these agitations. Although India does not interfere in the internal affairs of Bangladesh. That country is adopting an anti-India stance.
