గుంటూరు, డిసెంబరు 19 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి):లాజిస్టిక్ హబ్గా అమరావతి రాజధానిని తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తాజాగా ఉత్తర-దక్షిణ రోడ్డు కనెక్టివిటీని ప్రతిపాదించింది. ఖరగ్పూర్-కటక్-విశాఖపట్నం-అమరావతి యాక్సెస్ కంట్రోల్డ్ నూతన గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ హైవేకు సంబంధించి డీపీఆర్ను రాష్ట్ర రోడ్డు, రవాణ శాఖ రూపొందిస్తోంది. దీనిని సాధ్యమైనంత త్వరగా కేంద్ర ఉపరితల, జాతీయ రహదారుల శాఖకు నివేదించి, ఆమోదం తీసుకొని టెండర్లు పిలవనుంది. సుమారు 446 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర ప్రతిపాదించిన ఈ రోడ్డు ఎలైన్మెంట్తో సరుకు రవాణ సులభతరంగా మారుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం చెబుతోంది. ఈ ప్రతిపాదిత గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ హైవే అమరావతి అవుటర్ రింగురోడ్డుకు కూడా కనెక్టివిటీ ఉంటుంది. ప్రస్తుతం కోల్కతా-చెన్నై ఎన్హెచ్-16 నానాటికి పెరిగిపోతున్న వాహనాల రద్దీని తట్టుకోలేకపోతున్నది. ఈ క్రమంలో అమరావతికి ఖరగ్పూర్, కటక్, విశాఖపట్నంతో కనెక్టివిటీని పెంచేందుకు ఈ గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ హైవే ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడుతుందని పేర్కొంటూ కేంద్రానికి నివేదించనున్నారు. ఈ గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ హైవే ఎలైన్మెంట్ను నూజివీడు, ఏలూరు, పోలవరం, అడ్డతీగల, చింతపల్లె, పాడేరు, సుంకి, పార్వతీపురం మన్యం మీదుగా కటక్, ఖరగ్పూర్ వరకు ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఎలైన్మెంట్లో కొన్ని మార్పులు, సవరణలు చేసి కేంద్రానికి నివేదించనున్నారు. కాగా, ప్రస్తుతం ఒంగోలు-కత్తిపూడి మధ్యన ఎన్హెచ్-16కి ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా ఉన్న ఒంగోలు-కత్తిపూడి వయా చీరాల జాతీయ రహదారిని నాలుగు వరుసలకు విస్తరించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కేంద్రానికి ప్రతిపాదనలను పంపించింది. ఇది కూడా లాజిస్టిక్స్ రవాణాకు ఊతమిస్తుంది.

Guntur, December 19 (Andhra Jyoti):The state government has recently proposed North-South road connectivity to develop Amaravati capital as a logistics hub. The State Road and Transport Department is preparing the DPR for the Kharagpur-Cuttack-Visakhapatnam-Amaravati Access Controlled New Greenfield Highway. It will be reported to Central Surface, National Highways Department as soon as possible and after approval, tenders will be invited. The government says that with this proposed road alignment of about 446 km, the movement of goods will become easier. The proposed greenfield highway will also have connectivity to the Amaravati Outer Ring Road. At present, the Kolkata-Chennai NH-16 is unable to cope with the ever-increasing vehicular traffic. In this order, they will report to the Center stating that this greenfield highway will be useful for increasing the connectivity of Amaravati with Kharagpur, Cuttack and Visakhapatnam. This green field highway alignment is proposed to Cuttack, Kharagpur via Nujiveedu, Eluru, Polavaram, Addathigala, Chintapalle, Paderu, Sunki, Parvathipuram Manyam. Some changes and amendments will be made in the alignment and reported to the Centre. Meanwhile, the state government has sent proposals to the Center to widen the Ongolu-Kattipudi Via Cheerala national highway, which is currently an alternative to NH-16 between Ongolu-Kattipudi, to four lanes. It also boosts logistics.
