హైదరాబాద్ సిటీ:చర్లపల్లి టర్మినల్ (Cherlapalli Terminal)నుంచి రోజూ 74 ప్యాసింజర్, ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్లు నడుస్తున్నాయి. దాదాపు 26 వేల మందికి పైగా ప్రయాణికులు ఆయా రైళ్లలో ప్రయాణిస్తున్నారు. దాదాపు రూ. 430 కోట్లతో చర్లపల్లి టర్మినల్ ఏర్పాటు చేయగా, ఈ ఏడాది జనవరి 6న చర్లపల్లి టర్మినల్ ప్రారంభం అయింది. ఈ క్రమంలో సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్(నాంపల్లి) రైల్వే స్టేషన్లను పునరుద్ధరిస్తుండంతో, ఇక్కడి నుంచి బయలుదేరాల్సిన ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్లను చర్లపల్లి టర్మినల్ నుంచి నడుపుతున్నారు.
ప్రారంభంలో రోజువారీ ఆదాయం రూ.55వేలు ఉండగా, ప్రస్తుతం రూ.70లక్షలకు పెరిగింది. టికెట్ల పరంగా ప్రారంభంలో ప్రయాణికులు రోజుకు 372 టికెట్లు తీసుకోగా, తాజాగా సగటున 8వేల టికెట్లు జారీ అవుతున్నాయి. పార్శిల్స్ విషయానికి వస్తే రోజుకు 110 టన్నుల సరుకు రవాణా ద్వారా రూ.5.85లక్షల ఆదాయం లభిస్తోంది. దాంతో ఏటా సుమారు రూ.300కోట్ల మేర ఆదాయం ఈ రైల్వే టెర్మినల్ ద్వారా వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు అధికారిక వర్గాలు అంచనా వేస్తున్నాయి.
నూతన రైల్వే టెర్మినల్లో అత్యాధునిక సదుపాయాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసినప్పటికీ, తగినంతమంది సిబ్బందిని నియమించక పోవడంతో ఆయా సౌకర్యాలు ప్రయాణీకులకు అందుబాట్లోకి రావడం లేదు. మరోవైపు చర్లపల్లి స్టేషన్ (Cherlapalli Station)నుంచి నగరంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాలకు ఒక ఎంఎంఎటీఎస్ మాత్రమే నడుస్తుండగా, మరిన్ని సర్వీసులు నడపాలని ప్రయాణికులు కోరుతున్నారు.
