కథేంటంటే?:ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలోని ఓ గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన కుర్రాడు గుర్రం పాపిరెడ్డి (నరేశ్ అగస్త్య). ఓ బ్యాంక్ దోపిడీకి ప్రయత్నించి, విఫలమై డబ్బు కోసం మరో దారి ఎంచుకుంటాడు. ఎర్రగడ్డ మెంటల్ ఆస్పత్రిలో నర్సుగా పని చేస్తున్న సౌదామిని (ఫరియా అబ్దుల్లా)తో కలిసి కోట్లు కొల్లగొట్టేందుకు ప్రణాళిక రచిస్తాడు. అందులో భాగంగా శ్రీశైలంలో ఓ శ్మశానంలోని శవాన్ని బయటకు తీసుకొచ్చి.. దాన్ని శ్రీనగర్లో ఉన్న కళింగ పోతురాజు సమాధిలో పెట్టాలనుకుంటాడు. ఈ పనిని గుట్టుచప్పుడు కాకుండా పూర్తి చేయడం కోసం డబ్బు ఆశ చూపి గొయ్యి (జీవన్), మిలటరీ (రాజ్కుమార్ కసిరెడ్డి), చిలిపి (వంశీధర్ గౌడ్)ని రంగంలోకి దించుతాడు. మరి, ఆ శవాల్ని మార్చడం కోసం శ్రీశైలం బయలు దేరిన పాపిరెడ్డి, సౌదామిని గ్యాంగ్కు ఎలాంటి సవాళ్లు ఎదురయ్యాయి? శవాల్ని ఎందుకు మార్చాల్సి వచ్చింది? దీనికి, స్వాతంత్య్ర పూర్వం నాటి కళింగ- బాలిక - చెర సంస్థానాలకు ఉన్న సంబంధం ఏంటి? అన్నది మిగతా కథ (Gurram Papi Reddy Story).

ఎలా సాగిందంటే?:ఇదొక విభిన్నమైన డార్క్ కామెడీ థ్రిల్లర్. ఓ తెలివైనవాడు తెలివి తక్కువ పని చేసినప్పుడు.. దానికి తెలివిలేని వాళ్లు తోడైతే ఏం జరిగింది? దాని వల్ల ఎన్ని ఇబ్బందులు పడ్డారన్నది ఆసక్తికరం. జిల్లా కోర్టు జడ్జిగా బ్రహ్మానందం పాత్ర కోణం నుంచి కథను ప్రారంభించిన తీరు.. ప్రధాన పాత్రల్ని పరిచయం చేసిన విధానం బాగున్నాయి. నాయకానాయికలు రచించే ప్రణాళిక.. దానికోసం మరో ముగ్గురిని రంగంలోకి దించడం ఆసక్తి రేకెత్తిస్తుంది. ఆ సమాధుల్లో ఉన్న శవాలకీ.. స్వాతంత్య్రం పూర్వం ఉన్న మూడు సంస్థానాల కథకు ముడిపెట్టిన విధానమూ ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. ప్రథమార్ధంలో కథ శవాల్ని మార్చడం చుట్టూనే తిరుగుతూ నవ్వులు పంచుతుంది. శ్మశానంలో శవాలు ఖననం చేసే గొయ్యిని (జీవన్) కళింగ సంస్థాన వారసుడిగా పేర్కొంటూ పాపిరెడ్డి కోర్టు మెట్లు ఎక్కడంతో కథలో సంఘర్షణ మొదలవుతుంది. అప్పటి నుంచి శవాలు మార్చడానికి వెనకున్న కారణమేంటన్నది రివీల్ అవుతుంది. విరామ సన్నివేశాలు ద్వితీయార్ధంపై ఆసక్తి పెంచుతాయి. సెకండాఫ్ స్టోరీ ఆసక్తిగా మొదలైనా కోర్టు రూమ్ డ్రామా మొదలైనప్పటి నుంచి కథలో సీరియస్నెస్ తగ్గిపోయింది. ప్రీ క్లైమాక్స్ వరకూ కథ అక్కడక్కడే తిరుగుతున్నట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది. గొయ్యి (జీవన్) కళింగ వారసుడని కోర్టును నమ్మించేందుకు హీరో వేసే ఎత్తుగడలు సిల్లీగా ఉంటాయి. అతడి లక్ష్యం ఏంటన్నది చివరి వరకు బయట పెట్టకపోవడంతో కాస్త కన్ఫ్యూజ్ అయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది. రెండో భాగానికి లీడ్ ఇస్తూ సినిమాని ముగించడం ఫర్వాలేదనిపిస్తుంది. ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే?:టైటిల్ పాత్రలో నరేశ్ అగస్త్య నటన.. ఆయన పాత్రలోని భిన్న కోణాలు అలరిస్తాయి. సౌదామినిగా ప్రాధాన్యమున్న పాత్రలో ఫరియా కనిపిస్తుంది. మిలటరీగా రాజ్కుమార్.. చిలిపిగా వంశీధర్గౌడ్ నవ్విస్తారు. గొయ్యి పాత్రలో జీవన్ అమాయకమైన నటనతో ఆకట్టుకుంటారు. ‘జాతిరత్నాలు’లోని జడ్జి పాత్రను గుర్తు చేసేలా ఇందులోనూ బ్రహ్మానందం పాత్రను తీర్చిదిద్దారు. యోగిబాబు పాత్రకు పెద్దగా ప్రాధాన్యం లేదు. దర్శకుడు కథ నడిపిన విధానం బాగుంది. కృష్ణ సౌరభ్ సంగీతం, అర్జున్ రాజా ఛాయాగ్రహణం ఓకే. నిర్మాణ విలువలు కథకు తగ్గట్లు ఉన్నాయి.

This week, small and medium range films are buzzing in theatres. 'Gurram Papireddy' is one of them. Naresh Agastya-Faria Abdullah is a couple in this movie. How is this movie that aroused interest with the title itself?
What is the story?:Gurram Papireddy (Naresh Agastya) is a boy from a rural area in Khammam district. He tries to rob a bank and fails and chooses another way to get money. Together with Soudamini (Faria Abdullah), who works as a nurse in Erragadda Mental Hospital, he makes a plan to loot the crores. As part of that, he wants to bring out the corpse from a crematorium in Srisailam and place it in the grave of Kalinga Pothuraja in Srinagar. Hoping for money to complete this work without any fuss, Goyyi (Jeevan), Military (Rajkumar Kasireddy) and Chilipi (Vamshidhar Goud) are brought into the field. And, what kind of challenges did the Papireddy and Soudamini gang who came out of Srisailam to change that challenge? Why did Shawal have to be changed? How did it go?:This is a different kind of dark comedy thriller. When a wise man does a foolish thing.. What happened if the stupid people joined it? It is interesting how many difficulties were caused by it. The way the story is started from the perspective of Brahmanandam as a district court judge, the way the main characters are introduced is good. The plan to be written by the female lead actresses.. Bringing three more people into the field for that will arouse interest. The manner in which the corpses in those graves are linked to the story of the three pre-independence states is also impressive. In the first half, the story revolves around Shawal's conversion and spreads laughs. The conflict in the story begins when Papireddy climbs the steps of the court claiming the gravedigger (jeevan) in the crematorium as the heir to the Kalinga institution. The story seems to be moving here and there till the pre-climax. The hero's moves to convince the court that Goyyi (Jeevan) is Kalinga's heir are silly. It is possible to get a little confused as what is his goal is not revealed till the end. It doesn't seem right to end the film giving a lead to the second part. Faria will be seen in a prominent role as Saudamini. Rajkumar as a military man.. Vamsidhar Goud laughs. Jeevan impresses with his innocent performance as Goyi. Brahmanandam's role in this too is reminiscent of the character of the judge in 'Jatiratnalu'. Yogi Babu's role is not much important. The way the director has handled the story is good. Music by Krishna Saurabh, cinematography by Arjun Raja is okay. The production values seem to fall short of the story.
