Delhi: Pollution and smog engulfed the national capital Delhi. Breathing the air in Delhi is like smoking a cigarette. In the morning there is thick fog on the highways. There is a situation where the motorists have to go with the lights on in broad daylight. Train services were also disrupted. To this extent, the Railway Department has issued an alert to 15 states. On the other hand the visibility level has reached zero level. Visibility is less than 50 meters in Punjab and Haryana. Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand are more cold. Lakes are also freezing in those states.
